IE 8 works (64 bit), but FireFox (3.6) does not.
IE 8 works fine (64 bit) on the internet, but FF (3.6) does not. I get a 'Server not found' error message on my HP laptop running Windows 7. My Vista desktop works properly with all applications sitting beside the laptop. Firefox, my preferred browser, still does not work. Any suggestions appreciated, as I cannot think of what else to try.

I found a solution that sort of fixed the problem myself. I used Windows restore to restore to a previous point before all of the Windows updates were installed, and everything seems to work fine. NOTHING else worked. Dam Microsoft!#
