Why HTML Protection, (to prevent right-click and highlighting text) don't work over Firefox?
I have a WebSite dedicated to my poetry and paintings and I would like to protect it from abuse of author's rihgts, avoiding the right-click, the highlighting text and printing. But I think that this kind of software has no effect on Firefoix. Is this true? Why?

Sorry, I don't recall an "author's rights" amendment to the Constitution.
Kidding aside, Firefox security prevents web page code from overriding a user's settings for JavaScript events.
I do not understand the joke, but it is probably due to an error in English. I'm not a native English speaking, so I do the best I can. But anyway, thanks.
I do not think I quite understood, but it seems to me that it is not intended that Firefox allows protection I want to do, right? Thank you.
No, you can't have the protection that you want. Anyway if you could disable the right-click context menu tyen that would still leave a lot of other ways to save images (Tools > Page Info > Media) and other data (File > Save Page or View > Page Source)
Thank you very much. Now I am perfectly clarified.
