FF response "Can’t connect to URL. If you entered the right address, you can: Try again later etc. What is wrong and hos can FF resolve it?)

If you entered the right address, you can: 

   Try again later
   Check your network connection
   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

I am having this same issue with many things I enter into FireFox at the moment. What is wrong and how can FF resolve it?)
