I haven't used firefox in a long time and after an update, I don't see the download buttons on the top right of my screen where they used to be. Do I have to download an app to be able to download in firefox? I can't find anything relating to downloading in the options available anymore.

HI, please go to the 3 Bar Menu, then Customize and Mouse up to the download arrow and unhide it.

It only shows while a download is happening and until restarting or download is removed.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Firefox 57+ auto-hides the Downloads button on the Navigation Toolbar by default. The Download button should appear on the Navigation Toolbar once you open the Customize window. If you do not see the Download icon then click the Restore Defaults button to reset the layout in case you previously have moved this button. Once you see the Download button in customize mode then left-click this button to see the current auto-hide state and toggle its setting.

Thank you, I have been able to restore the download button. I am still having problems trying to download video. In my previous version, once a video was playing, three colored balls would appear in the top right corner to show there was content to download. Clicking on those balls would open a drop down menu to start downloading the video. How do I start a download? It appears all the download button shows is downloads in progress, of which I have none.
