How do I get my TABS bar back after Firefox Refresh?

On June 11, 2018 I used the Troubleshoot menu and selected "REFRESH" to clear my browser which had been hijacked by a rogue search engine so that only that one would appear when using the Search bar (to the right of the URL box). I am running Vista and Firefox 52.8.1 32 bit. The refresh removed the rogue search engine problem and I was able to get my browser looking like it did before except the TAB bar has no tabs shown in it. When I try to exit Firefox it gives me the typical warning box that I am about to close X amount of tabs but there are no tabs visible. What is going on? Here are things I have tried so far: - Uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled from the website. - Went to the about:config page and tried changing the item about displaying tabs in the title bar. That just cleared out the title bar but still no tabs are shown. Changed it back to False and my title bar returned. - Scanned computer and browser for malware, none found by AVG. - Googled this problem and posted it on a different forum, no good answers found.

Below is a screen shot showing the Tab bar with no tabs in it and also showing the right-click menu that appears when right-clicking the bar. All answers will be appreciated.

Did you move any other controls to the tab bar? Just wondering whether they might be crowding/displacing the tabs. You could try reverting the toolbar customizations back to default to see whether that helps. In Customize, it would be the "Restore Defaults" button down at the bottom of the panel. See: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

BINGO! Thank you jscher. Simply clicking on the Toolbar, Restore Defaults brought back the tab bar. Something is very wrong with the Firefox refresh process to remove tabbed browsing. This is the reason I went to Firefox many years ago.
