Firefox for Android. I have set www.google.com as homepage in the settings. Like on my desktop, i.e. as on my desktop I like to launch the Google search page as homepage.

This seems not be possible..? Firefox always shows 'Bookmarks' when launched.

Spent quite some time to find a solution, all in vain.

If it is not possible, well, okay, then I know and I can stop trying.

Thanks =

First: Settings - General - Home - Homepage - Set a Homepage - Custom - https://www.google.com/

Then, you might also try switching off restore tabs: Settings - Advanced - Restore tabs - Don't restore after quitting Firefox

--- You should remember that Homepage will only open once - when you launch Firefox. Opening a new tab is not the same thing. Also, you need to actually close firefox to open the homepage - that means either hitting the Exit/Quit button under menu, or clearing the app in recent apps menu. Otherwise, you're just "minimizing" the app and getting back to the already open app when you try to open it again.

There's currently no way (that I know of) to make the new tab button load your homepage. There used to be a useful app that let you reach your homepage quickly, but it might not be working properly in the latest FF.
