I'm using FirefoxDeveloperEdition on a Mac. I know I can switch Tabs by pressing ALT+CMD+Left and ALT+CMD+Right or alternatively Ctrl+PgUp/Down, which on a Macbook will be Fn+Ctrl+Up and Fn+CTrl+Down. All of those Keystrokes don't fit my usual workflow and would like to change that, but I can't / don't know how.

Any other app on a mac has a menu item for Previous Tab or Next Tab which I can remap within system settings, but Firefox doesn't. Therefore also Menu Wizard is of no help.

So: how can I change keyboard shortcut for this?

It takes an addon and some customization to achieve this, after some research I found a few you might try:

  1. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire.../?src=search via http://winaero.com/blog/how-to-customize-shortcut-keys-hotke...
  2. Others may be used to change individual ones: Mac Shortcuts
  3. Change Search Shortcut

Try addons.mozilla.org for a few more customizations.

Unfortunately none of your provided solutions work here. The big problem is, that there's not even a menu item for functionality like "Next Tab" / "Previous Tab" like 99% of mac apps have. Without menu item Menu Wizard won't be of any help here.

The others are only for certain redefinitions. I also searched for addons but none of them solves my problem.

Is it really so hard for FF to follow the "rules" and show menu items for the actions it provides?
