having used OPERA for at least five years, I'm now having issues with plug-ins like flash and adobe reader, now the new update is rendering half of the sites I visit unviewable. SO I installed firefox from mozilla.org latest version (I hope) but now that I have it, it doesn't give me the options to import from OPERA only edge and ie. the whole purpose of the switch was to break clean from OPERA, but I won't give up all I have bookmarks, history, passwords and certain site cookies. Help me break free from opera show me how to import all this from opera

Hi, if Opera has the option to export to HTML, save to somewhere convenient on your PC, then in Firefox, open bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Import Bookmarks from HTML, and navigate to your HTML file.

If Opera doesn't have that option, try exporting them to IE, then in Firefox, open bookmarks as above and import them.

More: Import data from another browser

Not sure whether you will be able to import history, cookies and other settings, but it will at least work for bookmarks.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.
