I am running Windows 10 Home on a Toshiba Satellite with and Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40 GHz with 8.00 GB RAM 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor. I am working with images on a webpage, but the images are distorted on Firefox and MS Edge, but not on Google Chrome. I am not setting a width or height on these images. I have turned off the Use hardware acceleration with available option off, and restarted Firefox as I had seen in another help topic, but with the same results. I would have included a sample screenshot of a page with similar images, but the uploader just keeps spinning and never completes loading. The original image in this sample is 40 x 40 pixels, black and white and there is no difference if I set the width and height of the image in the HTML. I measured the image in a graphic program from the screenshot and found is displayed at 50 x 50 pixels. If you zoom in to the screenshot, you can see that there are grey pixels along some of the edges but the Chrome images do not which is how the image is supposed to show. Any ideas on why this happens? Thanks.
