Up until a few days ago when I had multiple tabs open, closing Firefox would bring up a dialogue box asking if I wanted to close all the tabs. But I accidentally unchecked the checkbox on the warning saying 'warn me when closing multiple tabs' and now there seems to be no way to get this dialogue box back.

I tried checking the warn me when closing tabs checkbox in settings menu and the about:config options, but nothing worked. I even uninstalled Tab mix plus but it didn't help.

Is there any way to get this warning back when closing multiple tabs, considering I've tried the obvious options above but they did not work?

Thanks,

Hi, the browser.tabs.warnOnClose must be true (default) in about:config to be able to see the warning, if you uncheck in the pop up box the warning then the preference reverse to False.

BUT, to above only works if you try to close firefox from the [X] button (up-right corner), if you try to close firefox from 3-bar menu > Exit Firefox then firefox ignore the above preference and the browser close(something like force quit).

thank you
