Hi everyone. I just reinstalled windows 7 on my laptop and got all the drivers I needed for it. I downloaded firefox and installed it and everything works fine except for the javascript on any "mozilla.org" page. When they load they show nothing but the text of the web page with none of the structure. Things I've tried so far to fix it:

-Cleared all cache/cookie/browsing history. Everything -Reset firefox to factory settings -Uninstalled, re-downloaded, and reinstalled firefox -Run firefox in safe mode -Checked javascript, flash, and shockwave plugins.

Still no luck though. This is a fresh install of firefox and I have no add-ons so they couldn't be causing me any trouble. Have no idea what else I could do short of trying to reinstall windows again which I'm not too keen on. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Cheers.

Holy buhjabbers I can't even believe it.... I had the thing in pm instead of am and switching it worked. I'm baffled...

Never would have thought of that. I don't know why or how that works or why the pages loaded fine in internet explorer though. This just tripped me the hell out.

Anyway I owe you a beer. You saved me from myself.

Hello, no worries - Firefox supports an advanced security feature called OCSP stapling which is time sensitive to the degree of a few hours. On websites that have implemented that (like Mozilla's content delivery network for stylesheets and pictures) it may appear with the symptoms you have described. A more technical description of this mechanism is available at https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2013/07/29/ocsp-stapling-in-firefox/
