1. Clear out the cached files in Internet Properties
   1. From the Start menu, select Control Panel, then Network & Internet Connections, then Internet Options
   2. On the General tab, click Delete under Browsing History
   3. Click the Delete files... button under Temporary Internet Files and confirm.

Large numbers of fonts

Firefox loads all your fonts so that it can allow websites to display pages in all available fonts. Having large numbers of fonts can slow down this process. Removing unused fonts can sometimes greatly speed up Firefox startup times.

Extensions or themes
