When I am logged into Wunderlist when I exit Firefox, I find that I am still logged in when I reopen Firefox and visit Wunderlist again.

I have my privacy settings set to clear all cookies, history, cache, etc. when closing Firefox. I would not expect Firefox to be able to log me back into Wunderlist when I close and reopen Firefox and visit Wunderlist again. I also have my settings to Accept Cookies from sites as well as Accept Third-Party cookies that should expire when I close Firefox.

This behavior does not happen when I use the Always use Private Browsing Mode. I don't want to have to use this because I need to accept cookies for some sites that I use, but I don't want to stay logged in after I close Firefox.

If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.

Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

You can try to delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the cookies are stored as session data.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

Thanks for the reply.

I closed Firefox and deleted all files associated with cookies.sqlite* and sessionstore* and tried again. Unfortunately the same behaviors remain. If I close Firefox while logged into Wunderlist, I'm still logged in when I reopen.

Are there any other places where this information could potentially be stored?

I think I found my answer. After digging around the profile folder, I found a folder called "IndexedDB". Inside that was a folder called "https+++www.wunderlist.com". Inside there was an sqlite file with associated folder. The name was a jumble of letters and numbers ***********.sqlite and I renamed it ***********.sqlite.old

This seems to have fixed the issue. I don't know why wunderlist has this stored in Firefox.
