I have upgraded my desktop to Firefox 4.0.1 (running Windows XP, but I still get the same "look" as with the previous version. I have uninstalled and then did a fresh install, but still get the "old" look It is however the 4.0.1 version Firefox, however on my laptop running Windows 7 I get the new look. What is the reason for this. Henri

The "new look" isn't automatically enabled in W2K and WinXP. Right-click one of the toolbars in a blank area and de-select Menu Bar in that context menu.

This may be what you are after. With XP you have to hide the Menu Bar to see the Orange Firefox button.

Right click on toolbar space and uncheck Menu Bar. You can reverse this to bring back the Menu Bar anytime.

This happens by default with Win 7.
