Firefox will not load any websites at all. It will not even allow me to try and load them - I can type the URL but cannot get further than that. No error messages. All websites working fine in IE.

I have reinstalled to no avail, removed then added Firefox once more to my Firewall (full access granted), and changed my proxy settings to no proxy.

If you aren't able to connect in Firefox, but can connect with other programs, the most common cause is a firewall. See Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet for instructions on configuring firewalls. (Make sure you configure all firewalls that are installed)

Another possibility is that you are in offline mode. Make sure "Work offline" in the File menu is unchecked.
