Firefox 75 will NOT autofill logins and passwords despite correct checks in options. Why NOT? FRUSTRATING!

The appropriate boxes are checked - see attached image 1. Lockwise remembers all my logins and passwords, but when I go to a site - e.g., the Washington Post, see image 2 - Lockwise will not enter my login name. If *I* enter it manually, which I have to do to reach the site, then the correct password is entered and I get in. This is NEW with version 75 of Firefox; previous versions would log me in transparently. Once I HAVE logged in, I can return to the site repeatedly...but if I close Firefox for any reason and then reopen it, it will not log me in, despite the checkmark in "Autofill Logins..." entry. What's wrong? Is there another hidden setting I need to change?

Thanks ... looking forward to your reply!

A detail like a website remembering you (log you in automatically) is stored in a cookie, so once you have signed in then this cookie is used.

Doesn't "Fill Login" in the right-click context menu allow to enter (select) the username?
