Hi, Am running Firefox 29.0.1 on a Windows 7 pc. One particular web pages takes over a minute to load. On the same LAN I have another pc running Firefox 29.0 on Ubuntu (Linux) and it opens the same web page in a matter of seconds. On the Windows 7 pc I have cleared the cache, cleared cookies but still the one page gives problems. Web pages is http://www.stuff.co.nz Any ideas to fix the problem would be very much appreciated.

Quick fixes if your Firefox slows down

  1. Open the History on the computer that is slow.
  2. Search for all of the pages with that domain name.
  3. Delete them
  4. Reload the page.

Reload the webpage while bypassing the cache using one of the following steps:

  • Hold down the Shift key and click the Reload button with a left click.

OR

  • Press Ctrl + F5 or Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows and Linux)
  • Press Command + Shift + R (Mac)
