I would like to know if Mozilla's ( Firefox Browser) can integrate with and utilize a speech recognition program, I would like to have control of and be able to use all of the browsers functions while navigating the web using voice commands (only) ,instead of having to use a mouse & keyboard. If the browser does have that capability, are there any issues I need to be aware of and are there any tutorials or web pages Mozilla can suggest that will help with this. Thanks in advance for answering my questions and for the information forthcoming!

Hi Nathan, Let me start by saying "Thank You!" for your quick response , for offering your time and wanting to help with this! The program I plan on using is called: Microsoft Speech Recognizer 8.0 for Windows (English - US) & it is installed on a HP Pavilion Dv7 Notebook PC (Laptop) that processes with a AMD Phenom II N850 Triple-Core Processor at 2.20 GHz with a little help from 4 GB of Installed memory ram on a 64 bit OS that is running Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 If what i am trying to accomplish does work with Mozilla's Firefox Browser then i am looking forward to utilizing the internet and bouncing around the web in a new way.I am also hoping that they have worked out most of the bugs along the way and will continue to step up there game when future software & security issues pop up. ,I provided you with more info than you asked for,I believe that being fully informed sometimes produces our best ideas & helps us to make our most insightful decisions when were searching for the right solution. I look forward to hearing back from you and Nathan thanks again guy!

If you want to use voice control then you need to install such a program at the Windows OS level to have it available for all programs.

You can install Firefox extensions for screen reading or use a program like JAWS.

Frank, You really would of benefited from the Mozilla Firefox Addon Firesay (sadly development was discontinued and it only works on versions 3-3.6). I found this, " Improved accessibility on Windows

Firefox features IAccessible2, an extension to the well-known Microsoft Active Accessibility interface that allows screen readers to more tightly integrate with web pages. Through this technology Firefox can expose more information directly through independent interfaces. Screen readers such as NVDA do not require the use of video interception technology to gain access to all relevant information. Voice dictation software can implement speaking of selected text without having to rely on direct screen manipulation. Once implemented in assistive technologies, IAccessible2 support will allow a broader range of web surfers to gain access to all content that is available on the Internet.

Information on IAccessible2 - The Linux Foundation "

Try researching that software and let me know if it helps. Also if your a programmer you could write an extension. Thanks, Nathan. I hope to hear your response and see if I can help :)
