Audio comes on independently and unrelated to the audio being produced by the Internet site and cannot be turned off.
While checking an Internet site and listening when appropriate to the site's audio, suddenly another audio stream will appear on top of the appropriate audio. I have found no way to turn this separate audio stream off since I don't know where it is coming from or how it is piggybacking on the Firefox app.

The other might be from an ad. Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad / pop-up blocker.
