I just uploaded the newest version on my Mac and is taking 15 min to load Firefox (before it would take a minute). Is this new version buggy?
Immediately after I upgraded to the newest Firefox, it has been taking 15+minutes to open a window. I cannot even get to force quit as it is taking up all active memory. None of my bookmarks are showing on the toolbar or in the drop down menu and after about 15 min I get an unresponsive script error generated by a Mozilla script. Even after the error, I cannot do anything in the Firefox window!

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

Hey,
Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? Hold down "shift" while Firefox is starting up. If it doesn't happen in Safe Mode, you should read Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.
There is also a lot of useful stuff in the Firefox is slow troubleshooting section as well.
Hopefully this helps!

Hi Matt, I went into time machine and went backwards to the last version and was able to get into Firefox and work. I re-installed the newest version, but my bookmarks have ALL disappeared! And the newest version is giving me the same problem. I tried the shift key, but it is not doing anything. It's been 5 min now opening Firefox. Btw I can work in safari just fine and I've checked my Internet connection all is fine.
