Is the preferred abbreviation for Firefox still "Fx"?

In the early days of Firefox, the FAQs in the release notes mentioned that the preferred abbreviation is "Fx":

> How do I capitalize Firefox? How do I abbreviate it? > Only the first letter is capitalized (so it's Firefox, not FireFox.) The preferred abbreviation is "Fx" or "fx".

However, some time ago (unsure when exactly), this question was dropped off the FAQs. In fact, I can't find any mentions of a preferred abbreviation in any recent documentation.

Does this mean that the Mozilla Foundation no longer has a preferred abbreviation for Firefox? If "Fx" is still preferred (or not), does anyone have a link to an official documentation or statement from the Foundation indicating this?

I would say it still is. It is mainly the newer users that tend to use FF if they were not aware of Fx.
