The new firefox is horrible, cant get to some commonly used websites

This new firefox is horrible. I can not access some commonly used websites. I play the arcade games at chat avenue for one and the browser does not list a direct or indirect link to that site. I want to use an older version.

What exactly happens when you try to access those sites? Do you get a blank page, or a specific error message? I think we need a few more clues to help out with that part.

Where did the links appear before? For example, were you using a toolbar button, such as a Firefox bookmark or a bookmark on the Yahoo toolbar? Or was it in the page area of the tab, like a "speed dial" page? Or is this a problem with using search?

Could you check something: If the Refresh feature ran during your update, there should be an "Old Firefox Data" folder on your Windows desktop. If you find that folder, could you check inside for a semi-randomly-named folder, which would be a profile folder containing your Firefox settings/data from some point in the past. Check inside to see when the files were last modified to see whether you might want to restore some things from this folder. We can describe the steps for that.
