I just can't believe Mozilla allows this!

I installed Acrobat XI Pro for Mac and without my permission Adobe installed a Firefox add-on called "Create PDF". I can't uninstall, remove or delete it. I can only disable it. It's the only add-on that has no remove button. How can this be?

I also can't find the extension itself, in order to delete it. I tried everything, but the damn thing just can't be deleted.

I'm very disturbed that something like this is possible! Is Adobe paying Mozilla?

Unlike with Extensions and Themes (complete) the Plugins like Java, Flash player and other Adobe examples and such are not actually installed in Firefox but are on system. Firefox just scans and found compatible Plugins and is making use of them. This explains why there is no Remove button and only Activate/Deactivate which tells Firefox to make use of that Plugin on system or not.

See in about:plugins where they are located.

James,

Here is a screenshot of about:plugins. I don't see anything related to PDF. Only a plugin from Adobe for its Creative Cloud.
