How can I get back history, I deleted 2 days ago?...I am not very tecnical, and don't know how to save what bookmarks I have now,...already restored it

Delete my history (Web sites, download, etc, everyday)....on the 31st of August 2014 I realized I forgot to bookmark sites I needed. I restored it to the 8/31/14, but know that is not sufficient....Do not want to lose my bookmarks, or screw up my computer.....I don't even copy and paste,...lol...I have Windows 7.

I am sorry, if it was deleted it may be gone. To confirm this you can dig into the db that stores the history in your profile Folder. Warning this is a manual process.

You will need the places.sqlite file (make a backup!) as well as the sqlite manager plugin. Select t he listed profile and see the listed entries in the addon.

If they are not there, I am sorry you may have to use your memory.

What did you try to restore? Did you restore a previous version of the places.sqlite file?

Note that you lose bookmarks created after the restore date and in that case you can restore bookmarks from the last JSON backup made before storing the places.sqlite file.

You can backup the bookmarks in the Bookmarks Manager (Library).
