The Default Google Seach Uses google.com not google.com.au.
Hi I would like to change the Default Google search to google.com.au from google.com. I have read other posts and they say that this is not possible and that that Google will automatically redirect to the local version of Google as derived from a reverse DNS look up of the IP. I have IPv4 and IPv6 running as a tunnel service. IPv4 resolves to my location. IPv6 is a tunnel service based in the US. It is very frustrating having to add the country extension to the results. I have been unable to search for an AU google addin under the search providers.
Thanks
Mark

Here's an alternate source for search engine plugins that has 4 variations for Australia:

If any or all of them work, you might also wish to combine some of their features. You can create a new plugin from your favorite and then insert some of the other parameters as needed. Happy to discuss "how to" if you're interested.
