My OE Bookmarks disappeared when my son talked me into Firefox. Can my OE Bookmarks be retrieved?

I had scores of Bookmarks with my OE when my son talked me into Firefox. Suddenly, I could not locate my Bookmarks anywhere. Did they just evaporate because I am now using Firefox. I had some important stuff in my Bookmarks.

Are things hopeless. If so, I do not think highly of Firefox!!
