What should I do if my computer keeps freezing if Firefox is left open for too long? I use KDE.

Apparently, if I have Firefox open for too long, it freezes my computer assuming I was using KDE. For your information, the Linux distribution I'm using is Ubuntu, and after the first few times this happened, Firefox started to start up automatically for some reason.
