wierd pop up saying i need to download crap from 4 or 5 sites to watch videos they have the mozilla emblem but are not on a mozilla s i have watch tons of times
I watch videos on Crunchyroll. my players are up-to-date but i get wierd sites opening with mozilla emblem on it say they are out of date. An it open up 2 to 3 other windows saying i need to download crap. Have you guys been hacked? Or is my virus ware missing something? I not sure what is going on but it is starting to get annoying.

hello, this is usually a scam tactic that is trying to trick you into installing malware, so don't download or execute this kind of stuff! you might also want to run a full scan of your system with the security software already in place and different tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner & kaspersky security scan in order to make sure that there isn't already some sort of malware active on your system that triggers these false alerts.
Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
you could also help by pressing F10 & going to help > report web forgery while you're on these dubious update notification pages - this might get the page into the list of malicious sites that get blocked in firefox (the actual list is maintained by google) or when such pages use the firefox logos or trademarks to trick users into downloading malware you could also file it at https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/legal/fraud-report/.

TY didn't know about the report feature. I will us it next time they pop up. I have scan an nothing is on my computer, an i haven't downloaded anything lately until I found out what was happening.
