Is BCC working?

I sent an email with multiple BCCs and no CCs or TOs, I put myself as one of the BCCs. I did not receive it and I do not think anybody else did as well since I asked a f… (மேலும் படிக்க)

I sent an email with multiple BCCs and no CCs or TOs, I put myself as one of the BCCs.

I did not receive it and I do not think anybody else did as well since I asked a few people.

The email is in the sent folder. I tried forwarding the email from my sent folder to myself as CC, and that worked. I also tried fowarding as BCC, and that worked.

So what is going on? Is BCC working? How can I know for certain? Do I need to foward the email as BCCs to all my BCCs to get this to work?

My Thunderbird has been working properly for about 30 years, but now refuses to open. Message received says 'Authentication failed'. This happens repeatedly (for at least 20-30 times) and appears to relate to my password. It suggests 'Retry' or 'Enter new password'. The 'Retry' repeats as before so I check the Saved Passwords and enter the one saved. I get the same message. I am using Version 115 and have been for some time.

Could this be related to a change of Profile? There must be a way to reset the password? I have checked all the settings and no errors appear, all settings confirmed.

I have thought about a Recovery Mode and seem to remember seeing a message that I do have that. I just don't know how to access it.

How can I stop certain emails going directly to trash?

Certain email newsletters that I signed up for (and verified) go directly to trash. I have no Thunderbird filters on nor does my internet or computer. How can I fix this… (மேலும் படிக்க)

Back in 2015 someone asked about the fact that emails are not marked "as read" once opened but I don't think the answer was ever fully given. They were told: "This option has always been available and I use it. via Menu Bar Tools > Options > Advanced > Reading & Display or via menu icon menu icon > Options > Options > Advanced > Reading & Display select: 'automatically mark messages as read' Select: 'Immediately on display' click on OK When you select/left click an email in the list, it will auto open and display in the Message Pane below the list. If you use double click, it will auto open in a new tab or window depending upon what you selected. In bth instances the message will be immediately marked as read." Here's my problem with that .... I don't use the "Message Pane", I don't like it. I have my incoming messages set at "table view" and they are all just listed down the page by date. I don't want to see what's in the email until I actually open it....but, once I open it and read it when I close out of it the email still stays BOLD in the list....this didn't used to happen, once I read the email the BOLD went away. When I use the "automatically mark message as read immediately on display" then new emails are not in BOLD so I can't tell if they've been read or not. Bottom line, is there a way to have messages marked "read" AFTER they are opened WITHOUT using the message pane??

Suddenly I can not receive my emails on Thunderbird. They do show up on my cell phone. When I send an email, I get the following, "Your message was sent, but a copy was not placed in your Sent folder due to network or file access errors. What can I do?? Ed PS I will get your email response on my cell phone, thank you.

ThunderBird won't open Excel attachments. It tries using wordpad.

sending emails and no send button on computer when replying

I am unable to send out messages when responding. There is no button to with send and have tried everything possible.

I now just go to trash for my emails, I am not very tech good but have tried and my son also tried, but we couldn't fix it, we probably may it worse. So I am coping by using trash as my inbox. I know this is not a permanent solution and would very much like to know what I did wrong and get it fixed so I won;t screw it up again. Thank you for your time.

Will not send emails to my ISP after update 115.5.2

After updating to TB 115.5.2, we keep getting the following error message when we try to send or forward an email: Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while… (மேலும் படிக்க)

After updating to TB 115.5.2, we keep getting the following error message when we try to send or forward an email: Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The server is not responded. No such domain at this location. Please check message recipient "xxxxx@gmail.com" and try again. I get this error on all emails we try to send. We get this same error on my spouse's computer also that we use Thunderbird with. I have already checked settings with my ISP and the POP settings are correct. We can use other mail servers such as outlook.com and gmail.com using Thunderbird. ISP is cis broadband. have checked firewall, have uninstalled Thunderbird and re-installed without solution to problem. ISP has checked port to make sure it is not blocked.

incoming emails do not seem to be effected.
