In my left tool bar I have: xxxx@cox.net pop server followed by about 40 folders. This was the Cox email that is no longer in use. xxxx@gmail.com followed by folders … (மேலும் படிக்க)

In my left tool bar I have:

xxxx@cox.net pop server followed by about 40 folders. This was the Cox email that is no longer in use.

xxxx@gmail.com followed by folders

xxxx@cox.net this is the new imap cox.net using yahoo.

Is it possible to move the bottom cox.net to the top, followed by gmail, followed by the no longer in use pop cox.net?

I have had to Restore my laptop. Since I have I can not seem to separate my email accounts. I wish them to be kept separate because I use different 'Signatures' for each account. Is there a way to separate the accounts in Thunderbird? If not How do I delete all the email accounts connected to the main email account, without affecting any email accounts outside of Thunderbird so that I can then add them individually?

Hi, Excuse my poor English (I am French). Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon (64), Thunderbird 115.9.0 (64) no added module - Installation from the Mint list of software. My problem : regardless of the provider (Proton, Gmail, Outlook, GMX - in IMAP), the message menu bar (see <https://support.mozilla.org/fr/kb/personnaliser-la-liste-des -messages#thunderbird:linux:tb115>) does not appear. How to make it reappear ? I think I have tried all the configuration menus and possible right clicks within Thunderbird ; I haven't found anything on the Net ; starting in safe mode did not change anything. Is there a way to change the preamble line, or is it hard-coded?

Hi - how I receive my Thunderbird emails have changed. I now have to toggle on the attachment (paper clip) symbol to see emails received and sent that have / don't have attachments. Previously they were all in the same list. I didn't knowingly change any of the settings. I'd like to reset the emails so that all emails are in one continuous list - both with and without attachments.

Very much appreciate it if I could be guided through how to reset this.

This is something I've never encountered, since I hardly ever go to the Sent folder except to look at something I sent. But this was a different task.

I've had a series of emails from a friend, that my wife wanted me to forward to her so she could see them. So I went to the Sent folder, and forwarded 3 of those emails to my wife. Then she told me she only got one so I went back to Sent and thought they would be at the top of the list, 1-2-3, but that was not what I found. Since those emails were each part of several different threads in the back and forth with my friend, it took me a long time to figure out which email to pick off and resend. I made sure I was sorting them by date, descending, but was bewildered that the listing had the ones I wanted embedded (see screenshot, with the ones I just sent highlighted in red)

So my question is, is there a setting where I could tell Tbird to sort strictly by send date?

I set tese options using a little button and then foolishly clicked another little button that hid the option to choose what to display. I am unable to turn that second button on again and so cannot comntrol the display of inbox usage. How do I turn that button back on? Thanks for any help.

The add-in is disabled and I tried sorting the accounts in account setting but the minute you leave account settings the sort is gone.

How to Flag Email as NOT SPAM?

For JUNK mail, TB gives us the option to select "NOT JUNK". Good.

But for SPAM, I cannot find the option "NOT SPAM"

1) Why are there separate SPAM and JUNK directories? And why are they managed differently? This seems terribly non-intuitive and inconsistent and just strange.

2) How can I train SPAM filter to not flag good email from trusted senders? For instance, I get email from my wife many times a day for many years. Today, TB put her email into SPAM. Isn't there a simple command to "white list" a sender's email address?

I have clicked on the 3 bar Menu icon and Options is not there. I clicked on Tools in the Menu Bar and Options is not there either. I apparently have to get to Composition, but cannot find a way of getting there.

Is there a way to change the sort view (of all folders) to 'unthreaded' as default instead of the current default being 'threaded'. (See attached image)

Since the last update, I have to manually change the view to 'unthreaded' for each folder each time I restart Thunderbird. Very cumbersome.

Perhaps somewhere in the Config Editor?
