I work pretty much exclusively using Unified Folders, in particular a Unified Inbox. Thunderbird 115.11.0 checks for new messages on schedule and downloads from all three of my accounts automatically throughout the day. But if I want to do a manual download, the little cloud-with-an-arrow checks only my primary account, not the other two. Yet when I right-click the little cloud, that identical icon purports to represent all accounts. Am I misunderstanding something? Is there a way to essentially replace the one little cloud with the other so that a right-click and second selection is no longer necessary?

I have been given an email account as a board member of a local non-profit organization. I have tried but cannot get it to work in Thunderbird. How do I get mail from the 'sent' folder on an old laptop into a new one? I have migrated old received mail and contacts to the new inbox no problem.
Using the export tool is no use - the Zip folder it creates titled 'Thunderbird_profile_backup' is corrupted and nothing can open it. I manually copied all files into an external drive and opened them in the new Thunderbird. That imported contacts but not mail from the old 'sent' folder. How do I get all those old sent mails out of the old device?

Thunderbird doesn't consistently show messages for "digest" mailing-list emails. E.g. for a subscription to "users-digest@activemq.apache.org".
Looking at an individual mail, e.g. 57170, it also does not show the contents. Using Ctrl-U to show the source then reveals the contents.

After years of operating satisfactorily now when try to get new messages I am frequently told that there are several new messages but nothing appears in my inbox. I have checked the emails on the server but they match what is in my inbox. Nothing has gone missing and I do not have a 'junk' folder. I have tried clearing the cache but it did not work. Could this be a fault with the latest update to Thunderbird? This is nothing more sinister than highly irritating
T-bird has been unavailable for 4 days. 'Login to server...failed'. I don't see anything on my end. Are T-bird servers down?
