Thunderbird ஆதரவு மன்றம்

I am using Thunderbird version 115.7.0(64-bit).

The Inbox is 15.5 GB in size as shown in the attached image file,Inbox Size.Jpeg.

The Inbox folder is not displayed as the attached image file,Folders.jpeg, indicates.

Please provide me with a solution to this problem.

I have been given an email account as a board member of a local non-profit organization. I have tried but cannot get it to work in Thunderbird. It does, however, work on my Apple devices (iPad, iPhone & Watch). I'm missing important correspondence by not being able to get on my desktop. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

For about the last month or so, I frequently get an error message that my password is incorrect.

I use Thunderbird to manage emails on five separate accounts. Four are gmail accounts and I NEVER have an issue with those.

The issue only occurs with my oldest email account, which is an ".msn" account - a paid Microsoft account.

I can send and receive mail on this account without any issues when I use Outlook online through my Firefox browser, but when I try to use through Thunderbird, I get the password error message more often than I don't. In other words, sometimes the emails go through, but most of the time they do not. When I copy and paste the text of the email into the web browser version, there is never any problem and I am NEVER asked for my password.

Every now and then, when the message pops up, I attempt to re-enter my password, but most of the time it still won't send, and the error message re-appears almost immediately. I have changed the password twice, but that has no effect on the error message.

I would be very appreciative of any assistance.

I can not get emails anymore. They just suddenly stopped coming in. I can go to my ISP’s website and see my emails but can not get on Thunderbird. I suppose there is a problem with my account configuration but I don’t know what. Any idea what settings to check?

I have not received my new emails and have tried different options to get it to work. It also says I have 300+ emails in trash but they don't show up for deletion. I have tried restoring default, I tried troubleshooting and nothing has worked. It all started yesterday afternoon when I tried to get my emails. They are in the server but are not loading on my Thunderbird page

Since yesterday I am unable to receive mail. When I send a test email the message below comes up. Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors. You can retry or save the message locally to Local Folders/Sent...

I have searched, read and tried all fixes on this topic already provided but nothing has worked.

Our calendar in Thunderbird is currently not letting any new events be entered, is now completely blank of all entries and causing a headache as we have no access to information previously entered for next month and information from last month.

Any help provided would be appreciated.

i SET UP THUNDERBIRD ON MY NEW COMPUTER, SUCCESSFULLY, BUT THREE DAYS AGO MY WEB HOST/SERVERS UPGRADED THEIR SYSTEM. i SPENT THREE DAYS SORTING OUT NEW SETTINGS. CONFIGURATIONS, PASSWORDS, ETC, TO GET IT ALL WORKING, IT WAS DIFFICUL BUT IT NOW WORKS. HOWEVER, I HAVE MANY FOLDERS OF MAIL ,AND MAIL NOT IN FOLDERS, IN THEUNDERBIRD ON AN OLDER COMPUTER. i WANT TO IMPORT THOSE FOLDERS OF MAIL, AND ADD THEM TO MY NEW COMPUTER THUNDERBIRD INBOX SET UP, BUT I DO NOT WANT TO IMPORT THE OLD SETTINGS AGAIN!" THAT COULD BE A DISASTER. I JUST WANT THE MAIL AND THE FOLDERS. ALL THE VIDEOS i SEE ARE TO IMPORT THE OLD SETTINGS AS WELL. I recently had an issue where my email password changed on another client, but Thunderbird did not prompt me for a new password. After two days, my account was still frozen with no new emails on Thunderbird, although they were updating on other clients. The Mozilla help on the issue said to go to "Options." There is no "Options" option in my Thunderbird, not in the top menu, not under server settings, not under Account settings, not under Tools. My version of Thunderbird is 115.11.0 (64-bit), running on Ubuntu Linux 22.04 LTS. Maybe the issue of no "Options" option is specific to this particular incantation.

Here's what I did to force Thunderbird to prompt me for a new password. I selected "Server Settings" below the email address in the left pane. I changed the Server Name to one that is incorrect. When I migrated away from that textbox, Thunderbird raised a popup window that it had to restart. I let it restart, and when it came back up, it prompted me for a new password. I now input my correct password for the email address. It came back a few moments later that the password was incorrect, asking me to enter a new password. Well, it's the server URL that's incorrect, not the password. I cancelled the popup window, then changed the the server name back to the correct one. When I migrated away from that textbox, Thunderbird again raised a popup window that said it had to restart. I let it restart, and when it came back up, everything was fine, and my two days of undelivered emails came through immediately.

I hope this can help others who are bewildered by the lack of an "Options" option on their version of Thunderbird.

How do I get mail from the 'sent' folder on an old laptop into a new one? I have migrated old received mail and contacts to the new inbox no problem.

Using the export tool is no use - the Zip folder it creates titled 'Thunderbird_profile_backup' is corrupted and nothing can open it. I manually copied all files into an external drive and opened them in the new Thunderbird. That imported contacts but not mail from the old 'sent' folder. How do I get all those old sent mails out of the old device?

Basically, when I have a threaded message, I don't see the > to drop down information to show the threads from the subject pane in the subject field.

I have gone to view, sort by threaded. I'm led to believe I should see something like this:

But I see none of that. It's just one flat subject. It doesn't even tell me someone has replied to me. I have to go into the mail to see that. I have added the conversations add on just to get a glance of that, because I'm seeing nothing.

I have been using Thunderbird for probably greater than 15 years (back when I was in college). The last couple of years I have noticed an issue of when deleting multiple emails that has gotten progressively worse, where the entire application will hang in "Not Responding". For a test, I just deleted a batch of emails from the last month (newsletters, notifications, etc), it was 113 messages, and froze the application for more than six minutes. This was on my hotmail account but the same happens for my other accounts as well (all configured as IMAP). The issue has persisted through uninstall/reinstalls and even across a replacement computer. No extensions are installed.

Any thoughts?

I always use Mozilla Thunderbird for email. Today, it would not send outgoing email. Any email gives me a failed message: "Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Spam detected by content scanner. Message rejected (ID 665754780026FB52). Please check the message and try again."

My ISP insists the problem is not with their server, and I need to have Mozilla correct it.

I have a new email in outlook account. I have created a new identity in thunderbird for this. It is receiving emails but will not send them. I have made an app password in Microsoft but still can’t get it to work. Could someone help with this please Stephen
