I use Firefox on at least three different devices, and my Firefox account is linked on all these devises. And I have a huge amount of bookmarks, and almost daily create new bookmarks, as well as store links into existing bookmarks on my Linux Laptop. The problem is that when I then later use my Android smart phone or my Android Samsung Tablet, the bookmarks are not reflected in the same user friendly fashion as it was created or seen on my Linux Laptop. So much so that it is extremely user unfriendly and nearly impossible to store a link into an existing bookmark or to create a new sub-bookmark into an existing bookmark - also because the bookmarks can not be collapsed or navigated as easily as on my main device, which is the Linux Laptop. I need Firefox to reflect my bookmarks in exactly the same fashion and same order as I create them, and I need the bookmarks be be collapsable and navigable. I really want to use Firefox, but this disability forces me to now use Chrome, and I do not want that. Please fix the bookmarks in Firefox. I am writing to inquire about the possibility of searching and organizing bookmarks on the Android app using tags. I have recently organized years of Firefox bookmarks on the desktop app by tagging my bookmarks and removing them from folders. I would very much benefit from being able to use a tag-based workflow on mobile as I do on desktop. I notice this question was first raised about 10 years ago. I would like to know if there are any updates, or if perhaps there is an add-on that can fill this gap. Thank you!

I have made Firefox my default browser and am attempting to import my bookmarks from my AVG browser. However, when the choice menu appears, all browsers are shown except AVG. Any help appreciated. TIA.

Why were my bookmarks wiped out by April 2024 forced Firefox update to my Android Samsung S21 Ultra? 😡 Since I don't synch, can't find a way to restore my many bookmarks.

Mam dużo otwartych kart. Po zamknięciu kilku kart, gdy wyjdę z aplikacji (zminimalizuje ją) i wejdę ponownie karty które zamknąłem nadal są otwarte. Tak jakby otwierają się na nowo. This solution does not work. Firefox on Android will display a "Did you use the system camera? You must pair from within the Firefox app." when selecting the QR scanner from the dialogue box in Firefox. The option is still missing in the menu as well.

For the consideration of th FF user base, perhaps any coders who pass by...

It would help the over-nesting of synced bookmarks on GF Android if a simple icon was added to that little zone on the right of the address/search box. Right next to the tab switcher.

The current interface and procedure to access synced Windows bookmarks on an Android device is really non-intuitive, click-intensive, and overall incredibly frustrating to use. A quick database search here indicates the issue has persisted for years.

The new function of searching bookmarks from the search box is limited unless the user has a phenomenal memory for webpage titles.

FF on Windows allows the placement of folders underneath the search box, which is incredibly convenient. A really useful extension, add-on, or core program revision could at least use an icon to more swiftly access synced bookmarks in the absence of a dedicated bookmarks toolbar.

When can the feature to move multiple bookmarks at a time to a selected folder (i.e. move or copy & paste) be added into Firefox Mobile?

How ignorant that you can SELECT multiple bookmarks, but then the ONLY available option is to DELETE them, with NO option to move them to an already created folder. I don't WANT to sync because I have separate research topics on my laptop and on my smartphone, and want to KEEP them separate. A smarter option is to offer one repository for "Mobile" Firefox, and one for the Full Desktop Firefox, then allow SELECTED importing between the two. Why are you all handicapping yourselves like this? Each NEW "Mobile" version seems only to TAKE AWAY the most useful features (like printing) of the PREVIOUS version! :( When will it stop?

I wish this feature was on Android Firefox on Google Play Store Firefox App.
