I had to reset my first gen iPad Air and do not have Firefox. The app store requires IOS 13 to download. I have version 12.5.7. is there a way to get an older version to install on my iPad?

Hello: I’m running iOS 17.3.1 on iPhone. The problem I’m experiencing: I used to see the Recommended by Pocket articles on my iOS Firefox homepage, but they stopped appearing a few weeks ago. I’ve searched for a resolution, but all I can find are the steps for customizing/personalizing my HomePage: the problem is that although I’m signed into my Firefox/Mozilla account and have chosen Firefox as my Homepage for New Tabs, and I’ve signed out, restarted the app and changed my Firefox settings several times, the option: ‘Recommended by Pocket’ ( along with the actual articles appearing on the homepage) doesn’t even appear anymore: I’m at a loss as to locating that option, as well as, again, seeing the Recommended Articles as they appeared previously. It’s not I stall and update as far as I know, it’s an issue I’ve never seen. My browsers, Firefox chrome DuckDuckGo etc none of them can produce search results though my internet is very much connected to my router. My isp can’t find an issue. What is wrong?

A white toolbar appears at the bottom of the screen (when using a Bluetooth keyboard) or above the floating keyboard (if using the iPad on-screen keyboard). It takes up space but serves no function and often makes it difficult to view whatever webpage I’m looking at, or, even worse, to see what I’m typing if the input field is at the bottom of the screen.

If the “Done” button is clicked, the bar goes away, but then doing so also exits the input field, so I can’t type any further if I close this toolbar. The up/down arrows seem to serve no function.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Firefox app but the issue did not go away.

This does not happen in any other app, including other web browsers like Safari.

Any advice, or a bug fix, would be much appreciated.

For some reason accounts/passwords are not syncing on Firefox across my iPhone and MacBook. I have both signed into the account and have set up sync but it is not sharing across the devices.

Mozilla's Android app has extension support but Mozilla's iOS app doesn't, I don't know why, I don't want to use Android, the only feature I miss on Android is this Firefox feature.

Recently, when I type in the URL bar, there is only 1 suggestion from my bookmarks. Before, there were several bookmarks that show.

I want the previous behavior back so that I only need to type a few characters and then choose one of the suggested bookmarks in the list of results. Now, I need to keep typing a lot more characters/words before the 1 bookmark I want shows up. Sometimes I can’t recall enough of the full URL so the bookmark I want never shows up.

This is a big downgrade in the user experience. Is there a setting to go back to the previous behavior?

My option for night mode to invert the colors for websites has suddenly disappeared from the menu. If I go to settings I can turn on dark mode but it does not work for a lot of websites. How can I get night mode back?

With version 124 of Firefox, the ‘Dark Mode’ theme no longer works. Whether I set the theme to “Use System Light/Dark Mode” or if I manually set the theme to dark, it still always shows ‘light’ mode. FYI, my iPad settings are set to ‘Dark’ mode.

I prefer to read white text on a black background - much easier on the eyes! In earlier releases of Firefox, I was able to enjoy reading stories. Now I must set my iPad (manually whenever I want to use Firefox to read) to ‘Smart Invert’ (which will switch the Firefox window to dark mode), then turn off ‘Smart Invert’ to do anything else on my iPad.

Hi all, opening of external links (e.g. out of AppleMail or any other App) is no longer possible since FF version 123.0 (IPhone 6S+ mit IOS 15.8.2, FF is standard-browser). The last weeks I followed the article (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1442950) which should be fixed with version 124. Meanwhile I updated to FF version 125.2 but the issue is not solved for me yet. When I click on an external link in AppleMail or other Apps, FF starts and shows the startscreen. Then the screens "flickers" one time but nothing else happens. Because not many users are reporting this issue I think that may be a configuration set on my IPhone is the cause of this and not a bug in FF. Has anyone an idea what can be the issue and how to solve it ?

I'm now very annoyed by this issue and if I don't find a solution soon, I'll install another browser.

When I opened my Firefox browser my browsing history suddenly vanished. I noticed this when I saw that my recent activity was empty in my new tab I just opened. My bookmarks and tabs is still here. This glitch has happened twice now! Why does this glitch keep happening and Is there anyway I can get my browsing history back?
