Hi there , I am interested to know if Mozilla support group is aware of the problem Microsoft update KB4474419 causes? I am running widows 7 sp1. I installed the update as you mentioned in your Firefox 100 release notes. After reboot , I got a beep and a black screen - win 7 won't start. I had to find a way to delete the update so I could boot my system back. I asked few of my colleagues that use the same OS and they experienced the exact same problem. Surfing the web , makes it quite clear - this update is faulty and not compatible with win 7 as Microsoft claims. I would like to get a straight answer - can I update my FF99 to FF100 , without the notorious KB4474419 , or , as of FF100 , win7 sp1 is no longer applicable to Firefox ? Thanks. look4

since today firefox wont load any websites out of troubleshoot mode. not even settings/ about:config. if i open a page in a new tab it just stays blank and nothing is happening.

in troubleshoot mode i turned off hardware acceleration - nothing changed after restart. i updated the runtime file "Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022", which is suggested in different help-posts, i deactivated all addons, i created a new profile and also tried an imported one from eralier today - so far nothing has worked.

i also reinstalled firefox with version 99/ version 101 two times, after i cleared %APPDATA%-data.

im also just using windows defender as antivir.

please elp, i'm out of ideas.

On this site: https://www.orange.pl/twojekonto/zaloguj I can't force firefox to remember username (no problem with remembering password on next step). In older Firefox without WebEx there was addon which allowed to manipulate forms to prepare proper autocompletion data. This addon is not supported with WebEx anymore due to lack of proper functions. Instead Firefox Dev Team claims that mechanism built in current Firefox is enough for such tasks and mentioned addons are not needed. Seems it is wrong thinking.

I tried different approaches to save username for mentioned site but without success.

Well this happened after a Firefox Update with that i also suspect that using a User.js can aslo cause it would you like to look for the problem pls.

I am not a geek and I follow all the details of 'how to etc etc' but nothing works and the phone goes into random loops and keeps telling my I cannot sync (I KNOW that). Firefox has no phone number or email system for technical support (or any type of support) just this hit and miss system of 'forums' (or is that fora). I tried to send a bug report but I am NOT signing up for another (geek speak) account just to send you the problem. Please fix this issue - it never used to happen on older versions - how can I roll back my firefox to something that works properly?? Hi, I have spent hours this morning trying to diagnose a problem with Firefox Update 115. It is Unstable and I can't Stream Music from Youtube or even Amazon Music. Web pages from sites I use everyday are out of order when displaying text as well. It's a real mess. Now, here's the kicker, I haven't been able to stream my music from both aforementioned websites, but get this, if I use the Incognito Browser, Music streams No Problem. Seems like you guys broke something in the main FF browser. I have spent hours trying to debug this and have concluded that your most recent Update has broken streaming links. I can't rollback the Update and that is even more frustrating. Please Fix This. BTW, your Help Pages really stink. Sorry, but they offer no help when the problem is clearly FF. Hi, when I log into my bank I give my account number and then a password. I have told firefox not to remember my password but it is remembering the bank account number which automatically pops up when I am on the banks log in page. How do I stop this? Also when I signed up for this firefox help it asked for an email address and all my email addresses poped up for me to chose from. I didn't like this either. Appreciate any help. If these features can't be turned off whats the last version I can use that won't do this? cheers Neil

The web page, for my bank, won`t open. I have been using their web page, for a number of years. When I go to the web page, and try to login, all I get is a screen, with a circle, that keep circling, as if it were buffering, and never gets to the login page. Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome seem to work, but not Firefox. My bank is Security Bank Of Kansas City. https://secure.securitybankkc.com/login

Lighter fonts (from multiple families, and on multiple websites) are rendered so poorly they are barely legible.

I already tried disabled performance settings, and turning off ClearType in Windows (it barely had any effect)

How do we fix this?

I've been on the net since probably 1995, working in the computer industry. I buy a lot of items on the web, especially Ebay. I like to save the entire listing at the time I bought the item. Why, because listings change and it's frustrating. This way I have the full page in my Documents folder. Over the years, I've been running into problems with save Web Page Complete. More times then not it Fails, no reasons, just the little download icon goes red and it failed. That's how I know...I have read other support questions, but nothing other than a screen shot is recommended...Ugh. how can one screen shot save a page that scrolls in my browser for many pages...

So Why Do complete web pages fail to save?

Why are there no Descriptive Errors?

Is there something I can do to ensure I get this feature working again, reliably that is;-)

I am using DuckDuckGo with Firefox because I do not like auto suggestions filling up the search bar while I type. It's so annoying. I have ensured that Settings do not have auto complete in any way, but still they come. The only solution I can find on this website, which is Stop Auto Search in Firefox

There is a preference to change that back, but it does take a bit of work to find it because of the unusual name: (1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk. Everytime I try to do a search in Firefox I get a Manuals Library page come up. Why is it doing this? I did a search not long ago for a user's manual for a product, and I guess I accidentally downloaded this Manuals Library. Now I have no idea how to get rid of it. There is no shortcut on my desktop for it, I cannot find it anywhere in my downloaded programs in Uninstall or Change a Program in my Control Box. I DO NOT want this program! Help please!! It appears web sites can track my activity on their site. How do I make it so a given web site can't track me? Does Firefox have a setting that makes it more difficult to track me on a given web site? I've seen where a VPN, not sure what that is, can be of big help. How do I initiate a VPN and are there free VPN's? When I visit this particular site it states, "from your site login activity" and goes on from there what they want to do. How do I make it more difficult for a web site to be able to track my log in activity? Will a VPN solve this problem? Or, does Firefox have various accessories that can do the same thing? I know deleting cookies with this particular site does not solve the issue for me. Can someone help? Thank you.

A brand new ThinkPad P71 windows 7 sp1 FF 101 All other browsers I use work ok. On an older machine that I am trying to replace, FF 101 works ok. So it is something in the system settings, but I had no luck this far.
