Each attempt to log in to my bank account, using Firefox browser straight up, results in an access denied refusal. If I go to Duckduckgo.com and search for my bank, I can access the bank account. I wonder if you have other complaints/comments to that effect, too. It is an aggravation and my bank, Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU), did not have a solution but suggested I contact Firefox direct.

Earlier today I changed my settings in "Privaty & Security" to "Clear history when Firefox closes". In that setting I selected to only delete "Browsing and download history."

I assumed this would just delete my browsing history from the URL bar, but now after I closed Firefox, it also deleted all my tabs!! There were many important tabs that I don't want to lose. But I also can't find them under 'recently closed tabs', and I also tried a solution from this forum, namely to find the recovery file and upload them to https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html -- but they don't contain my old tabs either!

Is there still something I can do to recover my lost tabs??

Yesterday 1-2-23 I lost my tabs. When I tried to restore them I followed the suggestions listed in "help". I clicked on the "menu" on the top right of my browser, found the "history" and selected it. The "restore" option did not appear. On my macbook pro 2012 os 10.13.6 I had 3 "desktop" selections. I had a browser window on each of the desktops that held multiple tabs. The third "desktop" was the "dashboard" which mostly had widgets. Somehow the browser window from one of the Desktops was applied to the dashboard and when I tried to remove it the result was that it closed and was removed from all desktops.

How can I find the sessions or tabs that were present on Jan 1 or before? I'm not that tech savy and would love to be able to speak with a real person that would be able to walk me through a solution if there is a solution.

It is intermittent but very annoying. I simply searched one word, "twitter". Then nothing appears, white page. So, I cut/paste the google search address and this is what it is:

When it is working normally, I get a normal, fast result. I did the same "twitter" search I mentioned above and then I cut/paste from the address bar in google for you below, which is a normal result:

I've deleted cache and cookies, rebooted, etc. I've checked and the Firefox version is up to date.

What can I do to fix this? Thx

I have the setting: "When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" disabled, but it still jumps to the new tabs when I open links in them.

How do I stay on the same page while opening links in other tabs? I have tried CTRL + LEFT-CLICK, CENTER-CLICK, and RIGHT-CLICK menu to open in new tab.

I just checked to make sure Firefox was up to date.

My passwords won't auto-fill. The selection for "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" is unchecked every time I restart Firefox.

I've tried everything. Re-installing, refreshing, removed all of my plug-ins, etc. I'm not in private mode either.

This is really disappointing. I don't want to switch to another browser.

Xfinity streaming stopped working after the last firefox update. It's definitely firefox as it works on microsoft browser. I use the firefox brower and would like to get the streaming working again so I don't have to switch browsers.

I cannot figure out what the deal is. Every time I launch Firefox I have to re sign into YouTube. I have tried the following troubleshooting methods after looking it up.

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

Turn off Always Use Private Browsing Mode Turn on Remember My Browsing And Download History At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on ONLY Cache and Form And Search History leaving the others off.

This is not working I have also disabled all extensions and am still having this issue. It is only with YouTube no other site does this to me.

I am trying to edit my bookmarks, deleting those no longer needed, etc. However, I now have several versions in my bookmark folders, an up to date one, an original one, and an in-between one. They seem to show up randomly. Why is this happening? If I delete or edit a bookmark, can't it stay edited or deleted?

Is there a way to set firefox to save only history that is a certain time old? If I don't do anything after six months my history from six months ago will still be saved. Is there a way to set it for example to stop storing history that is over 3 months old?

I use firefox everyday and i experience crashes a lot usually when i right click. Normally I just close and reopen firefox and its working ok but today it crashed and deleted all of my open tabs. This never happened to me whenever firefox crashes it doesnt delet all of my tabs but today it did. I looked up on the internet on how to restore the tabs and the internet said Click History, then click Restore Previous Session but when I click history there is no button which says Restore previous session. Whenever I open Firefox in MacOS Ventura (13.0.1) it opens in full screen. I want it to open a bit smaller so I can see my desktop behind it. Full screen is fine for a laptop, but I run it on a 26" widescreen monitor. How can I set it so it only covers, say, 3/4 of the screen?

As of a few weeks ago, I can no longer copy and paste when using Outlook for emails with Firefox as the browser. I have no issues if I use the MSN browser. When using Firefox, I can copy and paste in the subject line but not the body of the text. This is a real pain! I had no issues until a few weeks ago. If I try to copy and paste, I am able to copy but when I right click I no longer get a "paste" option. I now have an emoji option in its place. What's up with that?! I am using Windows 11 as the operating system on a Dell computer. Thanks in advance!

It happened today, my Firefox browser is unable to play audio from YouTube, i have checked everything from checking to my external hardware settings , drivers everything is okey, i can play videos in other browsers with audio but in Firefox i can't hear audio. Can anyone help me with this kind of unusual problem.
