So my Firefox Developer edition just got updated to the version 74.0b2 and I got this brand new address/search bar. One of the things that it used to have before it had been updated was a simple arrow-down button that, when clicked, showed the most visited sites. Now, after the update, this button is gone (pic related). This makes my experience with Firefox *extremely* worse, because now I don't have a quick access to open one of my most visited sites inside the current tab without starting typing their addresses. Is there any option to bring that feature back? Is removal of this button an already-made design choice for Firefox that will stay with us for the next versions?

I can't find a way to change the scrollbar color in firefox 73. The gery on grey scrollbar is very annoying because it's so hard to see. I tried to create chrome folder and tried to add various codes to userChrome. I also tried this: https://gist.github.com/Sporif/db6b3440fba0b1bcf5477afacf93f875 but it seems to not work.
On some pages the scrollbar color is fine, but on most pages it is the annoying grey on grey. I also tried disabling layout.css.scrollbar-color.enabled in about:config without any effects.

I want to setup firefox to ask me, or directly to switch to a webmailaccount and start an email, if I use a MAILTO link. I can not setup this, the only add-ons are for gmail or yahoomail , but I can not find a solution for a custom webmail address. On another PC I got a question from firefox if I want to define this link, an on this PC Mailto is working. On my working PC I also want to set up this function, but I can not manage to do it. can anybody help?

The option to always open a link in a particular container seems to be linked to the domain; right-click link, Open link in new Container Tab, click the Always open link in this container. This then sets all links to that domain to open in that container.
Often I want to log in to the same domain, but as a different user. So I open them in different containers so as to keep the sessions separate.
It would be useful to specify the container in the bookmark rather, so I can have multiple bookmarks all pointing to the same domain, but each always open in the container I choose for them. I tried various add-ons, but they use the domain-based container feature built into FireFox.
How can I force a bookmark to always open in a set container?

My computer shut down after I tried to update Malware Bytes. After the restart, my Firefox home page doesn't pull/show the Top Sites or Highlights (won't even let me manually add). I ran a scan and computer s clean, no viruses and version is up to date. I even tried a refresh of Firefox, but same issue.
My drop down options no longer include the "restore previous session". I am at version 74.0

Firefox 75.0 has just been released. Address bar has been ruined with dynamic size and lines with increased height. For some unknown reason Mozilla developers think that taking away more vertical space will help their browser have "Focused, clean search experience that's optimized for smaller laptop screens" as they state in the release notes. Outrageous.
Now tell me how to go back to the old behavior.
I want a full horizontal length search result widget as it was before.
I DO NOT want an ENLARGED address bar while searching. Simply annoying that it changes its size and looks like popping out from the upper top toolbar every damn time I type something into it.
I want the ORIGINAL LINE HEIGHT of search results in the expanded address bar.
I want an address bar that doesn't expand when focused with Alt+D, like the old one.
I haven't found an about:config option to restore old behavior. However, a userChrome.css workaround is still good for me.

It now becomes bigger when you click on it or open a new tab, which is getting in the way of my toolbar. Is there a way to turn this feature off, and revert to the previous behavior (where it did not change size when clicked on or opened in a new tab?)
I know this seems like a small thing, but it's majorly getting in the way of me using my toolbar like I have in the past. To the point where I'm considering going back to Chrome. Please advise!

I do not care for how the address bar swells in size. I find it annoying and not useful as I use a separate search bar which is the ONLY reason I use Firefox instead of Chrome. Please tell me how to revert back to the previous was this worked. This is one new feature that I find annoying as it hides part of the items underneath it.

Since FF75 whenever i open a new tab or type in the adressbar the adressbar enlarges unnecessarily (see red marking in the picture (b), (c)), bleeding over in the tabs above (a) and covering (darkening, with a shadow effect) the bookmarks below the addressbar (d).
to me this is completely unusable in this state and everytime i see it, it is highly disturbing to the eye. how do i get rid of this?

Is there a preference to disable the expansion of the urlbar (aka address bar, awesome bar, mega bar) without disabling its new features? When expanded, it covers part of my bookmarks bar and makes it harder to click the bookmarks. Also I dislike the chunky UI look.
Things I've tried that did not solve my problem:
I'm hoping there is a browser.urlbar.update1.expand or similar that I can toggle off. If there definitely isn't, please confirm so I can submit a bug.
I find the new expanded search bar annoying and unhelpful. Is there a way to revert it to how it was before?
how can i get this new thing wear the address bar gets all big everytime i start a new tab. i have a chrome.css file
How do I make the address bar stop being big? It started a few days ago and is very annoying. Can it be an option in settings please?
