I've had an ongoing issue with Firefox now for several months since upgrading to windows 11. When I try to copy text, or images, url's or anything really that is supposed to go to the clipboard, it copies a blank text with no data instead. I can copy text and images from other programs and even paste them into text fields on Firefox but I can't copy from Firefox to anything else and it's frustrating.

I recently got forced into upgrading Outlook in windows and hated it so I started using Thunderbird and surprisingly, I have the exact same issue there as well.

I have tried: Running Firefox in safe mode (Shift + Left Click) Resetting Firefox Switching Back to default themes Disabling hardware acceleration Updating to the latest Beta Build (v126) Running Firefox Developer edition

I really want to get this fixed and working, I don't want to have to switch to another browser =/.

Unable to run firefox. I get the error message. (see attached screenshot) After terminating firefox processes, I attempted to create a new profile. and see an error message. (see attached screenshot)

Most of the time I cannot print my emails because an "add blocker" is installed. So now, I no longer use Firefox, since when I use Microsoft, I have no such problem.

in the firefox browser is there any way to see the casting the browser screen to chromecast on tv. similar to 'cast to media device' in edge browser or chrome browser.

After just turning on my computer running Windows 10, I opened Firefox. I open 1 web site and noticed my computer showed a (16) prefix when loading Firefox. I opened the Task Manager and it showed that there were 15 instances of "firefox" running in the background. All showed a UAC Virtulization of "Disabled". But they also showed using 638.8MB of memory. I do not know whether these are necessary files that must run in the background or if the number of files indicates that my system has been hacked and someone else is in my system from outside. Any suggestions as to validity of these files running or how I might confirm that they should be running. I have noticed the number of excessive background files before but the number is never consistent which makes me fear I may have been hacked.

I get the following message when going online with Firefox: "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." I've followed all the prompts to restart the computer, refresh the computer, delete the favicons.sqlite and places.sqlite and it won't allow me to delete them. This happened yesterday as well. Yesterday I could delete those files and everything was restored. But today I can't get it to work.

why can't I use the lingq importer extention? I get a message for all my extentions that says: firefox extension can't read and change data on this site. It's preventing me from using the LingQ importer extention.

This started a few weeks ago. I thought it might have been because I synced the passwords with other devices. I reverted it back.

When in about:logins, I click on the log in button but nothing happens.

I received a scam Apple (security) popup (on which I never clicked) and from that point on, some 30+ obsolete tabs congregate across the top Firefox browser window. How do i lose all these unwanted tabs?

I currently have a 'bad/rouge' session of Windows 7 Firefox (don't really know how that happened) open (7 'Windows', each with one empty Tab plus 1 'Window', with only 1 populated tab (Yahoo Mail)! I need to close Firefox in order to restart my laptop (strange things have been happening, including not being able to access the internet)!! On restarting, I want to be able to open Firefox with the previous session I had with my 8 'Windows', each with dozens and dozens of Tabs! Please help, I sorely need those many 'Windows' and Tabs!!!

Firefox slows down when I use web developer tools, I use this whenever I try to save an image on Instagram or other sites that I go to just to save an image or look for the video using the web tools.

Is there a way to fix this issue it lags the browser or it freezes for a second.

Whenever I select tab and then start typing in the page search box it automatically jumps to the URL/Address bar. This is not only annoying but it makes it difficult for me to see what I'm typing, and it often results in unwanted typing errors. I have yet to encounter a single longtime Firefox user who thinks this is a good idea, but I have met several who've decided to drop Firefox and start using Chrome just to be done with it. I've been using Firefox since early 2005 and I've mostly been happy with it but this is just to annoying to continue. I'm complaining because the feature exits, I'm complaining because there's no option to opt for those of us who find it annoying and will never become comfortable with it.

If there is a working fix that I've been unable to find, then please point me to where or what it is so that I can apply it.

I have managed to figure out ways to remove items from context menus from various pages here and around the web however it always seems to leave an additional unwanted separator line that I cannot find how to get rid of.

There are a number of additional lines I am looking to remove but the current one that is annoying me (based on most usage) is the additional line between 'Copy Link Without Site Tracking' and Search which is an add-on - Simple Context Search - https://tinyurl.com/yck5c (as shown in the attachment).

I did have 'search google for...' directly above the 'Search for Google' option which I removed.

I also removed 'Copy Link' which was above the 'Copy Link Without Site Tracking' option which I also removed.

Hope the above makes sense and any help greatfully appreciated.

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at wss://centralindia.stt.speech.microsoft.com/speech/recognition/interactive/cognitiveservices/v1?language=en

After the latest update to 125.0.2 (64-bit) the browser works fine for a few minutes and then pages won't load. It starts working again after a restart [ for a few minutes]. I have cleared the cache & data. Chrome works ok.
