When I click on a link to a PDF in a website, expecting it to open, it does not open. Instead, I am asked to save it to a file on my computer (apparently more or less selected at random). To open it and read it I have to navigate to that file. Not a terrible problem, but bothersome. I imagine I must have inadvertently told Firefox to behave this way.

After that my recommended by pocket disappeared. I opted out of disabling all cookies, but it hasn't reappeared. I checked about:config and the setting for recommendations is true. Please help!

As of last week, I am unable to reply in the reply sidebar in a Slack thread. When I click the reply icon associated with a comment, the sidebar opens and a loading icon is displayed for a second but then nothing happens; all I get is a white sidebar. I have updated to 99, shutdown and rebooted, opened Slack in an new window and nothing allows replys. I am running Windows 10 Pro, build 1903, 64 bit, i5 processor, 16 GB RAM. Suggestions?

Hi. On dictionary.com when I type in a word in the search bar and press enter, it works fine, but when I am on a definition page on dictionary.com (not the homepage) and I type a word in the search bar and press enter, it does not work. The page does not respond.
Also when I am on biblehub.com and I type in a reference (like Genesis 1:1) in the search bar at the top and press enter, I get directed to a blank page: https://biblemenus.com/topmain/send.php?q=undefined
In the search bar at the top of biblehub.com I must click the magnifying glass icon in order for it to work, which is annoying.
Note that a while ago (I don´t know how long ago) these things used to work correctly. I don´t know whether a Firefox update caused the problem or whether it was a change to the coding on the webpages. I am on the latest version of Firefox. Neither of these problems happen on Chrome.

Everything in Amazon.com works on this desktop except I cannot view my previous orders, the link in the upper right corner ""returns and orders." It begins to load but the orders do not load. From time to time I get an Error Overflow message in Firefox. Sometimes I enter the website directly in the address line and other times I click a link in an email and it tries to open in Firefox as it is my default browser. If I copy the address line to Chrome it loads correctly.
This is mildly irritating as it puzzles me each time it happens.

This is not just on one website - it is on ALL that have Facebook feeds. It is NOT just on my laptop - I have asked others to try - they have the same result - blank page. ...so please don't suggest re-installing Firefox!!

It is so annoying and make you loose data and waste a lot of time.
I cannot keep saving data all the time - yes I know Word Press has its own data saving etc.
I am talking about a 'normal' operation as CTRL + Z and Y !
I am a keyboard user since the 90s (!) and use loads of shortcuts fast and makes me waste hours sometime.
Any tips, maybe in the About:config settings?

A few days ago Firefox started opening in a small window in the upper left corner of the screen. This problem was earlier also posted by other users. So I have read all these topics and suggested solutions.
This is what I have tried: - removing xulstore.json - compatebility tab in properties - manipulating overlapping squares icon and dragging window to almost full screen - Reinstalling Firfox ( without removing Firefox completely on forehand)
So far nothing resolves this problem.

the newest update to version 97.0 was run automatically. Afterwards the new print preview appears although I have it disabeled in about:config (print.tab_modal.enabled --> false). I cannot get rid of it. It is very annoying as I cannot print my labels with that menu and always have to click once more to do so. Does anyone has a fix for this?

When I open FF it only opens with a half page on the left. This next jusy a polite general question. After the uproar about fvd suspension, why did FF feel the need to do it again? What I mean is why did they wipe out All my apps and deleted other programs I had BOUGHT and now having trouble getting downloaded again when they were working perfectly before 100? Are these programs also considered "Dangerous". Sorry. Could you give me an approved FF alternative to FVD and I don't mean this piece of garbage that is on your web page. You wanna throw something against the screen every time you look at it.; UGLY!!!!
