After i moved to another location and getting now internet via fiber and via fritz!-router 7530 i have issues with readability in many cases: Google News, Mailbox at GMX. To the 7530 my notebook is normally connected via WLAN. Text is in places often not shown, or colored in black or green or magenta, Images are often in places or complete filled with flicker (white, green, magenta, black). I suspected the WLAN connection and searched and read the ffox-help und tried some things, but nothing helped. Using a long cable from 7530 to nb has no effect.

I use CCleaner>Options>Cookies to save cookies in certain containers. I see that Firefox uses userContextId to specify a container. Where can I find which userContextId NUMBER is assigned to which container NAME?

Using the menu line, if I click Bookmark>bookmark current tab, it used to bring up a box where I could edit the tab name and location of where to save that tab. Now, in Dec 2023, it bookmarks it but does not bring up this box. In order to see where the bookmark is, I have to again select Bookmark, EDIT this bookmark. Is there a setting I need to now adjust to bring up that box when bookmarking for the first time? I have W10 and updated Firefox.

I used Speedtest by Ookla. When the broad band was installed, the technician did this without a problem. Today when I tried I was taken to an installation page. After I used the SpeedTest, then my main page was gone and instead I have a bar of Firefox selected options. I've tried to find how this is done so I can set it back but I can't find it. Please help.

My ISP is BT (UK) and I have 5 BT Mail email addresses. On the mail log-in page there is a sign-in box where I can choose which email address I wish to open. Unfortunately there are several instances of my main email address. Some with old passwords some from I know not where. I need to delete all those except the current one. I have tried clearing the cache and data but to no effect. The duplicates do not appear if I use a different browser, so it would seem to be a Firefox issue.

My work consists mainly of capturing accounting data online. It is important that the browser warns me if I try to close or navigate away from a page if the data entered has not been saved or updated, but I no longer get these warnings.

Many of the websites I access ask if I want them to remember my login info--username and password. For those that I trust, I indicate that I want them to remember this information, and for most I get an e-mail confirming that my device is registered. However, the next time I log in, I still have to go through the entire login. Is this a Firefox issue, and if so, how can I correct this?

Using Ancestry.com for genealogical research. The option exists to view other trees with comparable information. Works in Chrome, Vivaldi and Opera. Works in Firefox Developer. Will not work in FF 100.0.2. I've tried the usual troubleshooting - safe mode, enabling/disabling DNSPrefetch. Example URL http://trees.ancestry.com/pt/PersonMatch.aspx?tid=44861136&pid=162378642007&src=m which should display snapshots of other trees containing the same people. Only on Firefox, I am redirected to my homepage on the website. I have read of others having the same problem. Any fix suggestions? Thanks.

Since the last Firefox update to 108.01, or that is when I first noticed this problem. When I have many tabs open right to the end of the tab bar the new tab + disappears off the screen. The more tabs I open it does correctly automatically reduce the width of the tabs but pushes the + tab off to the right, this never use to happen before it always kept the new tab + in view.

I was trying to move it and I accidentally deleted it. I would like to reinstall it. I cannot seem to find the right phrase to find it on your sight and do a reinstall. If you would be so kind to point me in the right direction,I would be most grateful. Little updates like this is why I have remained a loyal fan since the Netscape Navigator days.

Hello there! So, I've just installed Firefox in a notebook I have and now there's a website where I can't see some pictures. https://i.imgur.com/E86dhVB.png There should be a picture there instead of (IMG:link) https://i.imgur.com/7lzrbfU.png There should also be a picture there, behind "Redvirux". Some pictures are shown, though, but most aren't. It's an http website, but it had been working fine on my Windows 8 instalation. Do I need some codecs? Is it a Windows 10 problem?

P.S.: I am newbie here and I don't know when the 1st post is the solution at the same time.

All my menu texts are so TINY now, that I can't read them, but the browser page is SO WIDE that I can't ever see a whole page and I have to scroll from side to side to read things, which is a ROYAL PAIN as I miss seeing a lot of things. No one can seem to help. I tried the limited percentage things, 67% used to work but now that is too big and when I go smaller I can't read ANY of the text, it is TOO TINY! I can't do my work! The screen shot won't paste on here.

I don't mean "saving" login information for later use, that I do not want to do. What I mean by the login not being retained is that when I log-in to a website like say Amazon, while I'm browsing, I end up having to re-enter my login information pretty much every other time that I switch between pages. I've never had an issue like that with any other browser. Is there some setting I need to adjust to stop that from happening? As I said, I'm not looking to save my passwords and usernames within the browser, I just want to effectively browse a website after logging into it without needing to login every time I move between pages. I dont care what you are going to say to make it sound okay, it is NOT OKAY AT ALL. Mozilla Firefox supposed to be a Privacy Browser is not making business with Meta -> Facebook, lately i really question the mental health of Mozilla, first a unique identifier, now a partnership with zucking facebook, what's next? Let me tell you something, if you are a privacy company then get the zuck away from companies who don't give a damn zuck about privacy -> facebook, mozilla can NOT simply make a deal with facebook and claim "oh dont worry it's ok your privacy is secure, bullsh!t.

You know what, i have been using Firefox since i first accessed the internet with a webbrowser, now hear this -> one more negative thing from mozilla and that's it, bye mozilla you have lost your way.

While this is only me speaking here, MANY people have already quit firefox because of what mozilla has been doing recently. Continue what you are doing now, and soon your greatest product -> firefox will be dead. When privacy partners with tracking & spyware this is the definition of suicidal behaviour. I really worry about Mozillas Mental Health lately.

Hey guys, whenever I tried to open my website in firefox the popup appear that unable to open it on this server but when I open my website on chrome it is working fine. I am embarrassed please let me what should I have to do.

Since 106.0.1 was installed the NY Times acrostic no longer shows a grid for solving the puzzle. Also, the Oregonian newspaper online no longer has arrows to move to the next or previous page of the paper. These things continue to exist on Chrome. I have other problems with this version but these are the major issues at present.
