I wanted to adjust some system preferences after installing the new FF 100 OS. Found I can't, either by menu or by keyboard shortcut. How do I get my access back? Using Mac OS 10.13.6. Do I need to go back to previous FF 99 version?

I'm using office365 mail and I cannot drag a file for mail attachment. This works fine in other browsers and I haven't been able to find a way to do it. I really need to do this for my work, so I'm starting to use another browser, which I didn't want to.

The background on the homepage link shortcut boxes keeps reverting to black and text underneath to white on my off-white background when a new version loads. I've used Colors to customize the look of my firefox but can't find any control for that. Once a new version kept the boxes white and the text black but now it's back to black again. Where is the control to fix this?

I have seen this in some past versions of FF It usually goes away after a few upgrades

Instead of whatever it's supposed to display, you can see that it shows some random characters.

I can only save (not open) Gmail attachments after the latest update and JPG is not showing up in my the Applications section of Settings/General so I cannot fix it.

This has happened one time too many guys, every update but this time half the items I would normally get as an attachment are no longer listed in the applications menu.

If I cannot get a fix quickly I will be forced to move to Chrome (which I REALLY hate the idea of). I see 25 - 80 emails a day and it is mission critical that I can open and view email attachments without having to save them.

please take off the red add, the pop up total add sign that keeps popping up asking to paid for the add block I am 82 and on a fixed budget. I do not want this service. How do I get it off my computer. When I want to print an article from an e mail.I always have to remove it to save an e mail, or when I want to print an article, I read it later, and I see the total ad block on my printed article stuck on the printed page blocking out what I printed. I use firefox since I go to college. When I got some problems, I try to check firefox use what to pick folder? I use Manjaro Plasma. I find chrominum use kdialog. But firefox looks not though both use gtk3 as UI

When I try to upload a file to a website it cancels after about 8-10% completed. I was able to upload the same file to the same website in Microsoft Edge without any issues. I checked my Firefox update history and I see that it updated to 100.00 yesterday 5/3/22.

Hello. With version 100.0 came multi-language spellchecking. I would like to know how exactly does it work, please.

For instance, if I enable both English and French, will it simply virtually add the two dictionaries and use the resulting combined list of words? Or will it try to understand if a paragraph or sentence is English and mark non-English words in that paragraph/sentence as incorrect even if they are French?

I am obviously asking this because there is no detailed information at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-use-firefox-spell-checker.

As from v100.0, Firefox allows users to "set their preferred color schemes for websites".

Ironically, this does not addresses complaints from users, including me, who wish for a consistent Light theme all across Firefox.

Even if "Web site appearance" is set as Light, the following still remain dark:

• Background of main drop-down menu (Containing "Sync and save data", "New tab", "Print", "Settings", etc)
• Background of right-click menu (Containing the refresh icon, "Save page as", "View page source", etc)
• Background of "Please enter primary password" menu
• Background of auto-filled user name and password menus
• Background of elements in a bookmark folder
• Background of Downloads menu
• Background of Print menu
• Background of "Clear all history" menu
• Background of "Find on this page" menu
• Background of "You are about to close X tabs" warning menu
• Colour of title bar for "About Mozilla Firefox" window, when the window is not currently active

Being able to set "browser.theme.toolbar-theme" permanently as 2 would fix all of the above, but users are still (Note: Since v96.0, when this complaint was raised) prevented from doing so. Why?

When playing videos on youtube or any other platform the volume is very low to non-existent. When a new video starts there is a sudden surge, whereafter it rapidly returns to a non-audible level. I have tried checking the volume settings in Windows and Firefox but nothing has helped thusfar. Please help me resolve this issue so I can go back to using my favourite browser again.

Afte a while , when i open a new tab and enter a "word/phrase" the tab wont do anything - not search, not open wesites, or google it automaticaly on enter. I have to close and open the browser to be able to use it again. I have allready fresh install, i have change the appblocker, logout and more setings but I have no solution yet. Maybe there is an log to look up to see where the problem persists. Thank you!

I updated my Firefox and it deleted all of my bookmarks I followed instructions found online, however when I click "manage bookmarks", the "import and backup" tab is not there

After few search, the adress bar just don't work anymore : nothing happen.. (with google) Need to close et start again Firefox to use search... until the same problem again

My Windows 10 system uses a powered amplifier to provide audio. As long as I have had this computer, the same volume level has worked for music through Itunes, satellite radio and all videos that come through Firefox. For example, 10 is the normal setting. Recently, somehow the audio must be turned up to about 30 on all videos that come through Firefox from whatever source site. The 10 setting stills works for all other audio sources. I don't know how this happened, rebooting, turning system off, etc doesn't have any impact. Is there some setting that either has changed or can be changed to restore the same volume levels for all input sources? Thanks.
