I have a world icon on tool bar with a red triangle notification. when i press on it it says "Cant connect to application" check your configuration. It does not allow me to open either statement. What is this?

All of a sudden, Twitter will not let me log in on Firefox (Windows 11 laptop). It works on my phone, tablet, and other browsers. When I try to log into Twitter on Firefox, I get an error saying "Oops, something went wrong. Please try again later. " I have already tried updating the browser, clearing my cache, and clearing my cookies and I'm still having the issue. What can I do to fix this?

Evening from Johannesburg. Please can someone advise as to when i will receive the verification email? I have tried numerous times and i am yet to get one email to action this. First attempt was 05th May. Another, today. I am still waiting and have checked all folders in the said email to use by yourselves.

I got mad at a website that wouldn't let me right click menu to save pictures, so I stubbornly saved them via less efficient means, in the process I picked up the Long Screenshot extension and this had an error shortly before or after I had an issue with Lightshot not appearing, other extensions did not appear either when I added them during this time period, but now these all appear with the exception of Lightshot, which gets deleted and reinstalled only to not appear, that of course being the problem, though I will also say that a right click menu not being there is like reaching onto my computer and pulling my finger away, sites that do that should be given the cold shoulder somehow, at least.

I was using Ctrl+K on some websites to do things like site-specific search, task bars, and so forth, but recently Firefox started capturing it for focusing on the search/address bar (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly#w_search).

Is there a way to unbind `Ctrl+K` in Firefox?

I was busy logging in to Firefox (today's update) using my account and wished to store my login info, but the link upon login was a long useless address specific to the post-login screen and related to adding more devices. I opened a new tab but this was, apparently, a sticky login and the new tab was logged in as well. I logged out of that tab with the obvious (hindsight) effect of interrupting the previous tab/s.

Long story short, the immediate effect was the message in the subject line of this mail. Firefox locked my account and I need it unlocked.

The 100 release of Firefox turned half of my desktop web site shortcut icons to PDF icons. Why? And why only some? I have some URL shortcuts that I have no control over the icon (no change icon selection under properties). How do I get these changed back, other than redoing all the changed ones? Thanks, Wayne

When I type a term in the address bar or in any search engine...nothing. Links don't work from open pages. Typing a URL in the address bar doesn't work unless it's a site I've been to previously. It's very frustrating. Everything works fine in Chrome...and I hate Chrome.

So I updated today as requested and now all the sites I had previously checked to allow pop ups etc on are no longer functioning.

Why dod you not include copying these settings in your update,

What a massive waste of my time

The background on the homepage link shortcut boxes keeps reverting to black and text underneath to white on my off-white background when a new version loads. I've used Colors to customize the look of my firefox but can't find any control for that. Once a new version kept the boxes white and the text black but now it's back to black again. Where is the control to fix this?

Google Chrome is closed and ive checked task manager to make sure that its not open in the background.

I choose my main account from google chrome and choose to import passwords and bookmarks and it says that it successfully imported it but my passwords and bookmarks are not showing up on mozilla.

Instructions on changing primary email address not helpful-prompted to access Accounts but profile displayed would not let me edit my primary email address. When attempted to add secondary address was notified that code was sent to my old email address was was compromised & deleted by security of my carrier Want to add new email address & add secondary email account. Assistance greatly appreciated

Certain sites (the latest being https://azgaar.github.io/Fantasy-Map-Generator/, which i've downloaded successfully from before) cannot be downloaded from - firefox gives the error of "[site] attempted to automatically download multiple files. The site could be broken or trying to store spam files on your device."

I know these downloads aren't spam or malicious, but when I hit the "Allow" button to give permission, there's no change. The downloads remain blocked and new downloads are blocked.

I've turned off my antivirus shields to see if that was causing it, but to no results.

Please tell me how to STOP the annoying Total Ad Blocker advertisements that continually show up on my screen when I am using Firefox. It's COMPLETELY ANNOYING!!!!!! I do not want to purchase this software now or later, but I will stop using Firefox if there isn't a fix for this issue. Yes, I am THAT frustrated. Thanks Steph

When you have a number of pinned tabs that you want to stay and during a session a blank window opens behind your current active session (or you open one for some reason and forget it is open), when you close your main session (with all the pinned tabs) and find the single open blank tab session - if you close that window the next time you open Firefox it does not open all your saved tabs and you don't have the option to "restore previous session" with all the tabs because it remembers the blank window session.
