There is "show in folder" menu for file in downloads. And it will launch my file manager at the parent folder for the selected download file.

There are so many files in my downloads folder, so i would like the specific file to be autoselected. My file manager support this if i pass the filename as parameter in the commandline.

However, seems that firefox only pass the parent folder path to my file manager in the "show in folder". However can i customize firefox so that it will pass the full file name to my file manager when i click "show in folder", and my file manager will open the parent folder with the specific file autoselected.

I lost suddenly some pints in my explorer. I did not delete them. It had happened at: BENUTZER - Matthaeus Deffner There I have had saved some files "LEBENSLAUF" They are lost now. Can yo help to get again?

Quando eu mudo a página do Firefox, através de um programa externo, e depois tento voltar para a página anterior, a página aparece na tela, mas fica completamente INATIVA, e a barra de endereços também não muda para a minha página anterior. É um problema GRAVÍSSIMO que só acontece com o Firefox. Várias das suas sugestões já foram posta em prática, incluindo-se a reinstalação, mas, sem sucesso. Como faço para resolver?

This purple capsule icon appears in the upper left-hand corner of my Firefox browser when I share a tab using Zoom or Google meet. It does not go away when I stop sharing my screen, or if I quit Zoom. If I'm using two displays, sometimes it sticks on one screen when I move my Firefox window and hovers over every window in any app. The only way I can make it disappear is to quit and restart Firefox, which isn't practical. I can't find any setting in the Mac Control Panel or in Firefox to turn this off (Reddit is split on if this is a Firefox problem or a MacOS problem).

Greetings. so I have been using this type of browser since netscape vs ie. enjoy and use firefox daily, when i can. there seems to be a weird process of constantly changing the software, and not allowing reliability. I can set for no updates, or only if i allow it, but firefox ignores me and updates anyway and then displays a new front page describing the mischief the coders have been up to. couple weeks ago, you broke it. dead. like a brick. switched to brave, there were a couple updates, you undid whatever you broke, fine. then a day or two ago, broke it again. not really a fun game. once i am able to move bookmarks over to brave, why do firefox? it takes forever to start, presumably while it sends all my browsing history and downloads to be examined for commercial potential. I can give fire fox a 2 or 3 minute headstart, hit brave, in 10 seconds i can use it, firefox still busy with industrial spying, or something. eating a sandwich? who knows. if there is any way to tell the coders to create a do not change, leave my damn browser alone because it works button, that would be nice. otherwise, its just a weird game for someone i guess, but i dont have time to play.....

For example the call ProcessTypedArrays() at line 128 in file ChromeUtils.cpp give the error.

I need to run speech recognition in Firefox (OS solutions are not suitable in my case), but I can't get it to work. I've tried following these instructions in Nightly, Dev and regular version, but they all end with a network error. I also asked my friends to check and they had the same thing happen. Do I need to follow the steps to run offline or is the problem much deeper?

Since about two days ago firefox on both my PC and laptop has been trying to connect to a random website called ponf.linkedin.com that I have no idea where it came out of.

I have no clue why this was but I reset both browsers on both devices + reinstalled windows 11 on my main PC and it only continues happening on my PC now, i've managed to replicate the behaviour by resetting the browser and everytime that happens firefox attempts to connect to this website even though bitdefender blocks it and nothing comes up, no popup or anything as if its just in the shadows.

Does anyone have any idea why this would be and what I should do? any help is appreciated thanks.

Netflix will not play in Firefox on windows 11. Any help is appreciated. First error message is a connectivity issue, but Netflix will play in other browsers. Then second error message is F7111-1957-205002. I have followed both suggestions, with no luck. Anyone that has had this issue or knows how to fix it, please let me know. Thanks.

I have had this spam pop up 2 times when I was on Facebook through Firefox through DuckDuckGo. Could someone confirm that this is spam and how to fix it? Also, I would like to report it to Firefox and I can't find how to do that either. Thank you

I can't print an email. The whole screen prints and is too small to read.

I read previous answers to use the drop down menu and select print, but then I get window that says I have a blocking the print. I don't have an active blocker. I do have malwarebytes. Never had any trouble printing on chrome or safari.

I am encountering a repeated problem making online reservations in another country through Firefox, in which I select the correct date in the displayed calendar, submit the reservation request, and then receive a confirmation for the day following the one I requested. It has now occurred multiple times in the last few months, involving reservations made at hotels, restaurants, and libraries through a variety of platforms (third-party consolidators, directly through the business's own site, etc). I thought at first it might have to do with the time zones--I made the first batch of reservations in the evening US time when it was already the following day in Europe, but it is now happening with reservations made at a time when the dates match. When I contact the businesses, they see no sign of error on their end. I feel like I am losing my mind.
