Tabs to not reliably reopen after closing Firefox. The latest occurrence, but not the only one, was after updating macOS 13 on a Mac Mini M1 using current version of FireFox.
I have read multiple help pages and double and triple checked settings. My work around has been to Bookmark All Open Tabs each time I close FireFox or shutdown the Mac - doable but a nuisance.

Hi, I had been using FF for about 3 years without any issues. Then today, the browser was refreshed updated (I dont know what the exact term is) but since the new browser I have lost all of my history, my saved websites, my extensions etc etc etc . I was under the impression that these can be retrieved, can they as I would really like to be able to reload all of my extensions, but this doesnt seem possible now. Can you advise, why this occured and how I can retrieve the lost information? Thankyou

I have no problems with my Firefox instances on Android and Linus but on MacOS, it's a nightmare! I suspect it's a synchronisation matter because, on OS, it constantly, constantly is askin for me to log-in but neither my OS pssword nor Firefox (master password) are accepted. I'm loathe to reset my password because I really do not think it will make any difference.

This is the white checkmark on maroon circle in the upper left of the image. I went directly to settings using my opening tab. Have been through all settings multiple times turning things on and off and cannot figure out how to get rid of this feature of loading the last page used as a clickable icon (icon from page, such as the Home Depot icon would appear there instead of the Intuit checkmark if I had last been on the Home Depot site).
