For about the past week I've been having trouble with Gmail and Google Search in my Firefox browser. Typically, I open a Firefox window with multiple tabs and leave the window open all day. I always have Gmail and Google Calendar open in tabs. What happens is that the Gmail tab will at some point give me a message that it cannot connect and has timed out and is trying to reload, but it never reloads, it just stalls. Then I try to open a Google search bookmark to search and the tab remains blank. This happens multiple times throughout the day. Meanwhile I can open Gmail or any Google page in Chrome, which I don't like using.

Sometimes I can close out the Gmail tab that won't load and try to open Gmail in a new tab, but that stalls out too. The only way I can open Gmail again is to close out the Firefox window completely and then relaunch it, then it can open Gmail or Google... until it breaks again.

This never used to happen. I'm using the latest versions of Windows 10 and Firefox on my desktop PC. Nothing else has changed.

Please help me fix this, it's very annoying.

Fairly frequently I need to send files I receive in .txt or .pdf format to my browser to read.

I have attached hereto two versions of the same file - one sent to Firefox and one sent to Chrome.

Note that the screenshot of the Firefox version of the file contains loads of UTF-8 character translations that are incorrect and show up as strange characters instead of letters or punctuation marks, while the same file shown in Chrome is almost perfectly clear.

I am running Firefox version 127.0.6533.89 (64bit) in a Win 10 Pro 64 bit environment that is up to date as of August 1st.

This has been a problem with Firefox for a very long time and I would like to know if I have misconfigured a setting that has caused this.

Despite having the Pop-ups box ticked, I continue to get these 4 in a row, from McAfee. I have been running a system clean for 3 days, and still get these pop-ups. I have TotalAV, but nothing I do has made a difference.

When I search for a Hebrew-language video on Firefox the resulting link text overlaps with the English text “Translate this page” for all YouTube videos. I don’t want any page translated and my Firefox Translation settings include no languages. The overlap only occurs on YouTube video links. How can I get rid of the “Translate this page” text? I am trying to view uploaded videos in to my work portal and when I try to view the video this is the error message I receive. I am running WIndows 10 on my desktop. My Windows is up to date and I have cleared all cookies and still not working. Please help. Thank you

Corel asked me to do a screen shot of the issue: Attached When I look at the changed screen, There is an icon infront of the Web address line that looks like a robot. When I rollover it this statement comes up: Browser is under remote control reason (Dev Tools) All of the address bar is inpink. daThis is still frustrating. I do not like to use the browser when something else appears to be in control. I have MacAFee and run a scan but nothing shows up? If developers are following my browser, I should beable to turn this off.

Hi! From some time now i have problem with GUI elements overlapping each other. It started with the window control buttons (that part, where you can close the window). Esthetics aside, it was not that big deal, so I just ignored it, but some time ago similar overlap appeared on address bar - so now I don't see what I'm writing. This is a big deal, now I can't really tell if I made a typo, I'm not able to correct it or I can't see if what I'm writing is mixed with original url, stuff like that.

I'm on Manjaro Linux and Firefox version is 127.0 (64 bits) I've tried to reinstall Firefox with different sources, like Flatpak for example, but the issues persists. Has anyone an idea how to fix this?

There is an issue with 3 extensions: 1. Briskine. 2. Simple Gmail notes. 3. Boomerang. This issue is taking place only when Briskine is active and only on Firefox.

When Briskine is active Simple Gmail notes does not display at all. Boomerang does not display correctly so there is no access to the full screen and options.

This only happens with Firefox, not with Chrome or Edge. Also, it is a know issue that's been going on for a while. I wish it could be fixed. Thank you Adam [removed phone# and email from public support forum]

I'm really shocked that the developers at Firefox has not at all fixed the memory leak issue, which caused my PC to crash three times in a row. This is clearly unacceptable; even other browsers I use don't eat up a lot of RAM in a matter of seconds that ends up my PC lagging, or worse, crashing as a result. To the Firefox devs; why are you overlooking an ongoing issue that should've been easily fixed from the get-go, especially with updates that obviously have nothing to do with the memory leak issue? It's really easy to make such a popular browser not hog up memory so easily without causing so much lag, even on higher end PCs.

If the memory leak issue isn't fully resolved by greatly reducing memory usage, especially if I'm only using one or two tabs with me, I will have to consider seeking for another working browser that does not have a memory leak issue, and remove Firefox and never reinstall it altogether.

Your ads are all over my computer even in programs that are not yours. This is very intrusive and annoying. No one is going to look at these and one has to get rid of them to continue using other programs.

How do I stop these ads from coming on my computer?

I use my local ISP for email service and tech support chk'd and there are no current issues with their email service. When Bitwarden is turned on and I open an email, none of the text in the reading panel of the email will show up. The "subject" header is readable, along with the words 'from' and 'to', but no text after them. The entire reading pane where the email text should be is blank. As soon as I turn Bitwarden off, I read read ALL the email text...??!!

Hello, I Signed into and began using a New Firefox ACCOUNT Yesterday.Today,I found that I had forgotten that I formerly had a Mozilla account which is apparently still ACTIVE from 10/14/2021. I'm confused as to WHY it's called MOZILLA... Is it called Firefox or Mozilla for this Browser... and I don't want two Accounts... so I need to eliminate one. My iMac is Auto inserting My Password and I'm not familiar yet with whatever Browser I have, to locate a way to see the Password it signed me in on... ? the one I created yesterday... or the one that was created in 2021... So.. please tell me what the Browser is called today... Firefox or Mozilla... or Mozilla Firefox... ??? and I'll begin AGAIN... OR CAN YOU FIX THIS FOR ME WITH JUST ONE ACCOUNT, and I'll create another Password. My email has NOT CHANGED for either account... ey47ey@yahoo.com Please advise me how to establish my Account ASAP so I can continue my work. Firefox will not allow me to login to my mail a/c which I have had for more than 20 years. Because of this I cannot access a code to access my MS Outlook a/c This message shows:

'Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to webmail.mercuryin.es. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.' AND tells me that there is nothing I can do about this.

Even though I have browser.privateWindowSeparation.enabled set on "false", private windows appear separate regardless and it is bothering me. I restarted my browser, logged out and then back in, toggled the setting on and off again, but the damn thing stays in this uncomfortable spot that would be awkward to explain as opposed to simply having it blend in with the other windows innocuously. How do I fix this?

Download Web plugin to access my Security DVR. When I type in the IP of the DVR, firefox will momentarily go to the plugin but then says it needs to be downloaded. HELP
