Windows 11 Firefox browser 125.0.1

In Proton Mail, when I receive an email with an picture attached inline, I get the following error message: "Your browser could not verify the remote server's identity. The image might be hosted using the http protocol." Is this issue with settings in Proton or Firefox? How do I fix this? See image below. Thank you.

I keep getting this message every time I try to access a website I haven't accessed for a while : see attached graphic.

Is it possible to import bookmarks for a different Mozilla account. Apparently I have 2 different Mozilla accounts. I had been using (I'll call it account #1) for quite a while, and recently subscribed to Mozilla VPN service. When I subscribed i gave it login info for "Account #2". How can I keep the logon info for the VPN, and get my bookmarks imported from the old (routinely used account #1) ? Or, can I change the VPN service to the old account (account #1)? I know how to add another device to the VPN account, but the "accounts" are on the same "device".

Almost every time that I open a new session of Firefox I get a message that there is a problem and it needs a refresh, which removes the extension I use all the time. Any ideas why this keeps happening over and over and what I might to resolve the problem?

Firefox crashed and now will not open without crashing. I have trashed it and re-installed but still getting this error and cannot use the application. It will not open in Trouble Shoot mode. I even removed all files in the Library/Application Support

Lest update to 15.9 all my extensions are now disabled. Missing Lastpass and Surfshark from my menu bar. Doesn't seem to be any way to Enable them from Extensions screen.

I reloaded Lastpass from their site and this is now working on my Menu bar.

What is a security key? Where do I find it? Why does Firefox think I have one?

And why is there no helpful information to explain this confusing UX?

I can't open firefox. message says "firefox quit unexpectedly" and it won't reload. I tried Force Quit. I tried restarting my computer. I tried completely shutting computer down and restarting. It happened very suddenly yesterday.

Hello. Our organization is experiencing an issue where sound settings are not carrying over correctly to Firefox. Specifically, this is with speaker settings. In multiple calling platforms (tested in Genesys Cloud and Teams), we are not able to adjust the settings for the speaker that audio plays from. We can adjust the default microphone setting, but not the speaker setting. This is only occurring in Firefox (works fine in Edge and Chrome).

Additionally, we've tried adjusting the default audio settings by going to Windows > Sound settings > App volume and device preferences, and changing the settings specifically for Firefox on this page. This does not work. When we check Teams or Genesys Cloud, it seems like Firefox is just picking any default without a rhyme or reason.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I get the following message when going online with Firefox: "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." I've followed all the prompts to restart the computer, refresh the computer, delete the favicons.sqlite and places.sqlite and it won't allow me to delete them. This happened yesterday as well. Yesterday I could delete those files and everything was restored. But today I can't get it to work.

I received a scam Apple (security) popup (on which I never clicked) and from that point on, some 30+ obsolete tabs congregate across the top Firefox browser window. How do i lose all these unwanted tabs?

I have managed to figure out ways to remove items from context menus from various pages here and around the web however it always seems to leave an additional unwanted separator line that I cannot find how to get rid of.

There are a number of additional lines I am looking to remove but the current one that is annoying me (based on most usage) is the additional line between 'Copy Link Without Site Tracking' and Search which is an add-on - Simple Context Search - https://tinyurl.com/yck5c (as shown in the attachment).

I did have 'search google for...' directly above the 'Search for Google' option which I removed.

I also removed 'Copy Link' which was above the 'Copy Link Without Site Tracking' option which I also removed.

Hope the above makes sense and any help greatfully appreciated.

why can't I use the lingq importer extention? I get a message for all my extentions that says: firefox extension can't read and change data on this site. It's preventing me from using the LingQ importer extention.

I was playing around with my DMARC settings for my new site and was looking around at who was hosting my WordPress domain for http://ibizignite.com, and Google directed me to GoDaddy. That was wrong. However, in my fooling around, somehow GoDaddy and this associate Westechnologies keeps popping up when I open up my browser after booting up my computer, and I cannot get rid of it. I don't know where to find it, because there is no associated extension anywhere in my extension list.

I tried to use another add-on to block it, and it does, but the darn site keeps appearing every startup after a fresh boot, and neither Westechnologies not GoDaddy appear anywhere in my Zone Map or anywhere else in my registry. Can anyone help me get rid of it please?

I am a Salesforce (improveit! 360) user, exclusively browsing with Firefox for over 12 years without any problems. The most recent Firefox update 125.0.2 (64-bit) has caused an issue with my staff calendar. I have reached out to improveit! 360 they are a force.com developer and they will not help, said the error is caused by Firefox interpreting the code. I have figured out a work around to get the calendar to load correctly for a short term solution. Below is a screenshot of the error, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Recently I noticed that whenever I try to save a bookmark (and I save a lot of bookmarks) there are duplicates of my folders. I don't know why, but somehow at some point all my bookmarks got copied into other folders - Bookmarks Menu, Bookmarks Toolbar, and maybe something else. What's frustrating is that one of the folders is the one I use for convenience to access sites I regularly use, while saving to the other puts it somewhere I can't easily get to (I think it's the copies from Bookmarks Menu), so I have to make sure I'm putting it in the right folder - which is hard to do when they have the exact same name. Something I've found that works is to just find out which folder is the one that is in my toolbar and save it to those which pushes the ones in the Bookmarks Menu out of the quick access list, but that's not always convenient given how many bookmarks are in some folders. Using the bookmarks dupes extension, you can see just how many duplicates there are. I've also attached what I see when I save a bookmark, so you can see the duplicate folders.

Dear all,

We develop a system on D365 platform. On Chrome enviroment, I click the export option, it will download the excel file, I can open it on Excel. However, I click the export option on FireFox, it will download the excel file but I can't open it on Excel. When I use the notepad to open the file to see the content, I found the file become HTML content. I can see the file on web broswer. I don't know why the file content will be change HTML content when I use the Firefox to download it.

As of an hour ago suddenly all of the usual suggestions and autofill with bookmarks in my address bar are wrong and out of order. I didn't close out of or update Firefox, I was just browsing online. I didn't change anything in my settings or have opened that up in days at the minimum. I cannot figure out how to either revert back or tell Firefox to not show me these choices so I can get my old ones.

I'll give an example: When I typed in "ma" it would show me mangadex.com, which I often go to. Now when I do it not only is 5th on the list it shows up and fills in "https://www.manticgames.com/", which I don't have that specific page bookmarked. I have "https://www.manticgames.com/games/kings-of-war/" bookmarked, but not that homepage. But now all of a sudden it is showing me the homepage of that site when I begin to type in "ma".

This is incredibly irritating and I have no idea why it's doing this at me out of nowhere. I don't want about anything showing up besides my bookmarks and specifically only the pages I bookmarked.
