I've been using Firefox since forever but over the last couple of months, the auto translate subtitles (to English) hasn't been working when watching Youtube videos. There's a thread on the Youtube support site with nearly 40,000 posts of people with the same issue and tonight I was trying to watch a video where the hosts talk in Italian, so I use auto translate to English subtitles but no subtitles appear. It will show Italian language subtitles.

I've gone back through this Youtube channel's history trying videos I've previously watched from months/years ago when auto translate used to work but even they're not working now.

I decided to try the video in Edge browser and to my surprise the auto translate to English worked there. They also work in Chrome.

So what could be causing this issue on Firefox, which started about August time?

This is quite bizarre as I assumed all the processing/translation was done by Google/Youtube so in what way can Firefox be part of this issue?

To be clear, subtitles in the (foreign) language the people are speaking, works. Subtitles translated from that language to English (or other languages) has stopped working. Subtitles translated from that language to English IS working on Edge and Chrome browser.

Hi, Since three or four months, whenever I log into Outlook live, either on Mac or Windows PC, I get a security warning saying that the information will not be secure (Please see attachment.) When I log into the same account, from Edge for example, I do not get the warning popup. I really enjoy using Firefox and would love to continue but this case is worrying me a bit. Any idea to help? Despite having the setting "Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order" selected, CTRL-Tab has suddenly stopped cycling tabs in the most recently used order. Firefox behaves as if the setting is disabled. This is the third time I've experienced this issue in the past year, and every time the only solution that worked was to create a new profile. It is exhausting to get a new profile back to exactly how the old profile was, and it's something I shouldn't have to do.

Scenario: I am on Windows 11 (though I think this has also happened to me on Windows 10), currently using version 146.0.1 (though this has happened on previous versions). CTRL-Tab cycles in the most recently used order just fine for several months, then it suddenly doesn't—this happens in the middle of an active session, i.e., not after a restart of the browser nor the computer itself. I have four add-ons, none of which control tab cycling, nor have I added/removed any add-ons nor changed any of their settings since their initial installation many months ago.

What I've tried:

• Disabling/re-enabling the setting (even though it is already checked)
• Disabling/re-enabling the config browser.ctrlTab.sortByRecentlyUsed
• Restarting Firefox normally
• Restarting with add-ons disabled—note that the issue persists even with add-ons disabled
• Disabling the setting, then restarting Firefox, then re-enabling the setting
• Restarting the computer

It's the same thing described in this Reddit thread. What else can I try?

I seem to have lost all of my bookmarks & i have tried to Import and backup / restore in manage bookmarks tab but all i get is a message "unable to process the backup file" plus when i tried to bookmark a web page by clicking on the Star bookmark icon nothing happens now for some reason. Was there an update as this only just started around 2 days ago

All searches get blocked by reCaptcha, quoted as being caused by 'unusual activity on the network' After going through the "I'm Not A Robot" process the search is o.k., but this happens for every search. The problem does not exist if I switch to Chrome. How do I fix this?

I've disabled extensions, changed settings, and reinstalled multiple times, but Firefox won't quit stuttering constantly. Other browsers work fine on my computer, and Firefox doesn't seem to be using much memory.

I have selected Microsoft Bing and DuckDuckGo tabs to be open when starting Firefox. With Microsoft Bing as the primary. However, Bing only displays a gray screen with a search bar, but doesn't work. I am using Windows 11.

Hi, Just looking into using Tab Groups. I can create a group, add or delete tabs from it, and the Save and Close Group. This Group is then visible to re-open from the List All Tabs option.

However, if I close Firefox, and re-open it, then that tab group has disappeared from the List All Tabs option.

Is that correct, or am I missing a setting somewhere ?

When trying to access Facebook via the Firefox browser, the browser screen immediately grays-out and freezes? It is the only web site doing this, and it doesn't happen with other browsers. I have attempted to contact Mozilla technical support and their only response is to refer me to a forum, instead of providing actual technical support. I have reinstalled Firefox, I have created a new profile, I have cleared my browser history, emptied the cache, etc., yet this problem persists. How do I get actual, real Mozilla technical support from Mozilla for help with this issue, instead of being referred to a forum, or do I just not use your product due to lack of actual customer support? How do I contact an actual person at the Mozilla corporate offices about lack of real Mozilla customer support?

Unfortunately, Fusion does not work properly with the new Firefox. Firefox cannot be controlled using shortcuts such as H-headlines, E-input fields, B-button, insert+F7-link list, and insert+F6-heading list. Also, on most pages, you can't use Jaws controls like word-by-word reading or paragraph-by-paragraph reading, which is really limiting, especially with Outlook online. In Firefox 146, Jaws usually only recognizes the whole email as an image, and reading aloud only works if you use the mouse and navigate line by line, which is really hard if you're visually impaired. Since I don't want to give up Firefox permanently and am forced to switch to another browser, I am trying to get feedback to see if a solution can be found in the future so that I can continue using Firefox. I am having trouble downloading documents. They never finish loading and if they do I cannot download them to a file. Also when I exit firefox it isn't closing correctly. It brings up the last session. It keeps telling me it is still running even though I am exiting.
