I am really struggling with Firefox after many years of MS Edge & its forerunners. When there is not an envelope icon on a web page, how do I share to email?

I want to disable ad blocker. I actually want to see the ads. Since I did the latest update, ad blocker is turned on, and there appears to be no way to turn it off. How do I disable it?

I'd like to hide the Bar with URL addresses but guides I've seen (for example https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1331743 ) don't work for me because I don't have Mozilla folder at Appdata folder.

some firefox has kept my username and password for my bank.

i go to that page and they are both prefilled. I have tried to use the password manager to remove them but failed. I did find an entry and clicked to remove it but it still does it.

How can I get this out of the system? Pretty serious, eh?

And it is firefox, not cookies. I have a cookie manager and there's no cookies for the site.

In a previous version of firefox, I could right click within a text area for example, which would allow me to check my spelling. Since upgrading (which was actually from a higher Beta version, to the latest current stable - a new profile was created), I had not had this option. As you can appreciate, it's a very handy tool to have, so I have been attempting to get this function back today.

Within my language section, initially there was only 'English [GB]', which was as it should be. I had 'check spelling as I type' checked also. This did not automatically check as I typed. It did not check at all, not could i right-click to check spelling.

I have since added 'English [US]' to see if this would then allow me to remove and reinstate 'English [GB]', but it did not. I then added a third option which was 'English [CA]'. The config allows me to remove only 'English [CA]', which when pressed removes it from the list, but by pressing the 'set alternatives' button again, you can see that it has returned.

I have since managed to get firefox to check spelling in English [GB] by adding 'British English Dictionary (GB)' (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/british-english-dictionary-gb/), but now I am also stuck with English US and English CA. EN-US does not allow it to be removed whatsoever, even though it was only there after I manually added it and EN-CA allows me to remove, but returns. No option to apply and restart firefox appears (I've seen this appear in another user youtube video on the subject). Closing and opening makes no difference.

How can I removed English US and English CA please?

why do you stalk and bother the users? i do not want to update! without warning you alter things i do not want you to alter. you take things out so people have to use risky 3rd party addons.

I can't size the pages to WORK! If I size it down, I can't read the text. It used to fit the page and was readable but no matter what I do, it's impossible to read a web page right. Fonts are crazy!

Most fonts are way too small, that might be Microsoft, I had to go back to Win 10 but that didn't help much at all. Pages are impossible to see right!

It has totally freaked with my web design work.

My games are messed up with sizes.

But most of all text sizes ARE CRAZY!

In the image the page is 67% - but you can't see the whole page OR adjust it to work. When you do see the whole page, the text is so small, it is unreadable!

When my system crashes, the session that is restored is from some time back. I was wondering when Firefox stores its session information and is there any way to force an update? How can I insure that the new session is saved?

During unattended streaming I get unwanted notifications that require operator action to "dismiss" the message - see attached. How can I stop the notification from happening?

I have 2 yahoo email accounts. 1 on Chrome & "block Spam" works but on FF it does not. The same fake emails keep coming back and I can't add a screenshot to this.

Piszę do Państwa z zapytaniem dotyczącym błędu spotykanego w naszej organizacji w aplikacji przeglądarki Firefox w różnych wersjach od 90+ do 101. Problem opiera się o zakładkę aplikację w ustawieniach ogólnych przeglądarki. W organizacji posiadamy pewną wtyczkę (EZD Addin) i przeglądarka w pierwszej chwili działa z nią prawidłowo wskazując jej lokalizację. Problem pojawia się po jakimś czasie, kiedy wtyczka przestaje działać a rozwiązaniem okazuje się ponowne wskazanie ścieżki do aplikacji.

Chciałbym zatem dowiedzieć się, czy problem nie jest przypadkiem po Państwa stronie i przeglądarka FF po jakimś czasie niejako wpływa na ustawienia w sekcji Aplikacji z ustawień ogólnych przeglądarki. Czy może wysyłają Państwo jakieś dodatkowe pakiety modernizujące przeglądarkę a jednocześnie wpływa to na ustawienia tej sekcji.

Odgórnie chciałbym zaznaczyć, że wykluczono z opcji błędów poprawki systemu Windows (nie pojawiały się w tym czasie), błędy wtyczki - wszędzie działa prawidłowo z wyjątkiem sytuacji opisanymi tutaj (było ich kilka na różnych stanowiskach).

I am using a Windows computer. Is there a way to change the two finger swipe to go back (or forward) a webpage to a "THREE" finger swipe? Two finger swipes interfere with other things that I may be trying to do on a webpage. I often find myself scrolling through tables (using two finger scrolling) and then if I scroll too far in one direction it goes BACK to the last webpage I was on. This is super frustrating!

I know how to disable the two finger swipe using about:config. However, if it can be changed to a 3 finger swipe instead, that would be a huge help.

I need to download the helper application to be able to download adobe.

The instructions below are for Firefox 3.0. This version does not match. Please help

To be able to download, add Adobe's site to the list of "allowed sites" in Firefox:

       On the Tools menu, select Options; click the Content icon
       Check the "Block pop-up windows" box, then the Exceptions button
       On the "Allowed Sites - Popup" window, enter www.adobe.com in the Address box and click Allow, then Close.
   On the Tools menu, select Add-ons; click the "Get Extensions" link in the lower right corner of the popup window.
   On the Add-ons page, select Plugins from the menu on the left.
   Click the green Install Now button that appears under the Acrobat Reader header.
   Adobe's Reader page is displayed. Follow the instructions for downloading the correct version.
   A "Software Installation" box is displayed; click Install Now.

I have selected a particular theme (Classic Marine Blue) which I like. However, when I click on an item that has a dropdown menu, the background color of the dropdown is black with white text. I prefer white with black text. For example, this happens with the Library item with the drop downs Bookmarks, History, and Downloads.

I've tried using Firefox Colors, and couldn't solve the problem with a custom theme.

I get it that this happens because the text color on most of the toolbars is white, which apparently triggers Firefox to flip to a black background rather than staying with the original white background.

I don't wish to change the theme. All I want is my black-text on white-background drop down colors back.

Any suggestions? Please help. This is really annoying.

I want to enlarge the font in the menu bar WITHOUT enlarging/zooming all web content - JUST the menu bar. And I want to make the bookmark dropdown list single spaced with no padding. Can't find any solution to these issues.
