as the title suggests, i am now allowede to copy and paste at all anymore from the browser. and not only that, i am also unable to paste anything i have copied from the browser into another app. i am able to copy and paste from and to any other app, just not anything firefox related

i have checked about:config if anything with cut, copy, clipboard etc is set to true, and it was

i have refreshed firefox multiple times, which fixes it for 3 minutes and then im back to the same problem

i have uninstalled firefox, removed the local files, rebooted my pc, reinstalled firefox. and that didnt work

i stopped all addons, and i tried safe mode

i am at a loss what is going on with my firefox

also to add, i tried a firefox fork (librewolf) and from that i am able to copy and paste from and to the browser, which makes it even weirder

How to get rid of this silly 'finish set up' box that pops up all the time? Everything is already green and ticked? and also when i right click on mouse the menu opens but then it jumps up rather than staying with the mouse pointer. I used Google previously and it pisses me slowly off i have this kind of annoying issues with Firefox.

Why was it done? Is there a setting I can change so I can see them work as animated favicons? Will you change this on your next update? Otherwise, I am going to have to roll-back the version.

lost all bookmarks and can not add them back. tried the restarting, importing from Google, etc. Sadly I am off of Firefox after more than 20 years using it. Fortunately Google works fine for me, but I miss Firfox.

Hi, Since three or four months, whenever I log into Outlook live, either on Mac or Windows PC, I get a security warning saying that the information will not be secure (Please see attachment.) When I log into the same account, from Edge for example, I do not get the warning popup. I really enjoy using Firefox and would love to continue but this case is worrying me a bit. Any idea to help? So, after using firefox in the background to browse websites or watch videos I checked my memory usage in firefox with about:memory -> Measure and saw that youtube was consuming a decent amount >2GB (checked the main url when clicking the youtube src, it was the video on that sole tab i was watching and nothing else playing youtube in the bg) so i closed that tab, waited a bit and re-measured but then see that the memory usage for youtube rose about 200MB... and the website for youtube is that same url for the tab that i just closed (when checking the src in the results for Measure). I've been revisiting the about:memory page, reloaded it and re-Measured and youtube is STILL THERE. Even now, 10 minutes later i still see youtube there, with none of my tabs running youtube.

If i close firefox entirely and re-open my tabs then it'll very likely fix it but this has to be a major issue no? I shouldn't have to close the entire browser program just to fix a website visit, which is youtube of all websites.

As of this moment, firefox, with 8 tabs open, is consuming 4,452.99MB (~4.5GB) where 2.5GB is youtube for that page i closed.

I don't know if sharing memory reports from the about:memory page give my cookies away or leave me open to a similar vulnerability so I won't share it unless a dev or similar asks for it but for now, I've included an image showing all the tabs i have open on firefox, 2 windows.

When I start Firefox on Windows it does not open all the Windows it had last time even though that option is selected in settings. It seems random on which Windows open.

Then I start one Window at a time and restore my tabs from bookmarks. Once I have done that I have all the Windows in the order I want, with the tabs I want.

Then for no apparent reason some of the Windows disappear and/or the Windows change order. This is very frustrating.

How do I get Firefox to always open the Windows in the correct order and keep them displayed in that order?

I started my computer bookmarks and password were gone. I can't find them in profiles or I don't know where to find them in profiles. I need this stuff obviously. It takes me forever to reset everything. What if anything can I do?

Loading website for BacaPoa.frontsteps.com does not work, now fails ("not secured") . This is business site I have for years.? [windows 11] Is the a bypass or override I can do? JR

When I type map into address bar, maps.app.goo.gl becomes the autofill. I'd want to delete it. However, shift-delete does not take effect. I checked history and did not find it.

How can I delete it?

The welcome addition of Tab Groups I just noticed on updating my Firefox, however looking through help and documentation, it's not clear to me if Tab Groups syncrhonise across devices (or at least desktop devices) as like recently added to Chrome. Wished to check if this is case

All of a sudden, through nothing I have done, ALL my bookmarks are gone. I CAN'T even bookmark anything either. What have you done. Until this is fixed I will not longer use Firefox.
