Firefox Update Issue when opening Kaspersky Safe Money session

I have discovered a problem with Firefox updates when opening a Kaspersky Safe Money browser session.

In Firefox, Tools - Settings, Firefox Updates, it shows Firefox is being updated by another instance and the option to Check for Updates has been greyed out (screenshot attached).

When you use the Help, About Firefox option it also says that Firefox is being updated by another instance (see screenshot attached).

When you check the same Settings in the Safe Money 2nd session, it shows exactly the same information and you cannot update Firefox in any session.

In previous versions of Firefox, when you opened a 2nd session it said that Firefox was being updated by another instance and the option to Check for Updates was greyed out but you could still update Firefox in the main session.

This is not a problem when using Chrome or Edge so it must be related to Firefox so can anyone suggest anything to fix this or does it need Tech Support to look into it for fixing?

I am testing react applications which draws large number of nodes on Canvas through a flowchart library called cytoscape cytoscape. As the number of node gets big, the rendering slows down. This is expected due to performance limitation of the browser. However, there is an unexpected error: the browser breaks with "NS_ERROR_FAILURE" whenever we zoom-in too close to the graph that is drawn.

As the website breaks with this error, the graph disappears and the user experience is compromised. I want to know if there is a way to prevent this error from happening. Slow rendering is not a critical issue but this breakage is a critical problem for us. Let me know if you know the workaround or you need more context about this issue.

I've recently encountered a curious issue with my Firefox browser (Firefox version 102.0, Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.25145.1011). At seemingly random times it will freeze for between two and five minutes (roughly). UI elements become completely unresponsive and the cursor does not update when moving over the browser window. The window will not minimize. Yet, Windows Task Manager does not report the application as being unresponsive. While never a common problem, any freezes in the past would eventually cause the Windows Task Manager to identify it as unresponsive.

I have disabled "recommended performance settings" and hardware acceleration to no avail. Everything seems perfectly normal immediately before and after the freezes, and I've yet to identify how I can trigger them. I do not recall having made any changes to my browser before the freezes started occurring, though multiple Windows updates have taken place since then. If I'm too impatient to wait I will end the Firefox processes via Windows Task Manager and restart it so I can return to my tabs without having cookies deleted. I have 13 plugins mainly covering privacy/security concerns. Is there some sort of debug tool I can engage to see what's occupying Firefox while it's frozen? I've just found the Firefox Task Manager, and will see if it can offer any additional information during/after the freezes.

Firefox Developer Edition wont open Discord hyperlinks

Discord hyperlinks will no longer open when Firefox Developer Edition is selected as my default browser. They open fine in both Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome when selected as Windows 11's default browser. When selecting my default browser it would show 2 instances of Firefox Dev but after uninstalling then reinstalling it there is only one instance in the default app list. I'm not really sure where to go from here. Maybe this is an issue with the latest version of Dev Edition or is this an issue with my Windows?

I had my font preference set to Plantagenet which has worked fine up to now. I tried changing fonts, restarting Firefox, restarting my Mac, and it's still broken. I'm wondering if this is also affecting other Unicode writing systems.

I have been using Firefox as my default browser for many years and much prefer it to the other browsers. However, several weeks ago Firefox started blocking the download of my morning newspaper. Now I have to copy the link from my morning newspaper email and paste it into Chrome to get access to my newspaper rather than simply clicking the link in the email. While I found this very annoying, when I couldn't find a workaround, I just continued to copy/paste into Chrome. Today I tried to download my IRA quarterly statement and found Firefox is blocking this pdf download also. Note that in neither case does Firefox tell me that they are blocking the downloads and they just do not download and some pdfs do download. So this is now getting beyond just annoying. Is there a workaround for this new Firefox problem or is my only alternative to define Chrome or Edge as my default browser and give up Firefox?

I wanted to get an couple new addons to my firefox browser. But whenever I try to get one i get the message 'Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt' whether I save the file and install it in windows, or trey to install at the firefox addons page. I have done multiple re-installs of the latest browser, cleaned every file out of the system, even joined this community in case I have to get some kind of membership to get addons.

I am out of ideas to solve the problem, and I cannot find anywhere on the internet where the 'Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt'. problem I have is solved. Please help.

the add on of phantom wallet for my firefox was working perfect for 2 month. for some days i can not login anymore. password is for sure the right one. i get "unknown error" as seen in the picture i added. I wrote to the phantom wallet support and they ask me to run a command in the developer mode.

is this safe to run the command and send a screenshot of the results to phantom wallet support?

Please ignore the steps mentioned in my previous email, it can be quite confusing. I have outlined the exact steps in detail below:

Step 1: On the address bar, visit: about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox You will see a page as displayed below.

Step 2: Copy the Internal UUID.

Step 3: Vist: moz-extension://<Internal UUID>/popup.html You will see a page as displayed below

Step 4: Open the Web Developer Tools (Command + Option + I)

Step 5: Enter the password and click on "Unlock"

Step 6: Copy everything you see on the Console logs and paste it here or screenshot them to us.

Important: Do not try reinstalling the wallet.

Cannot go to onedrive.live.com

I am unable to browse to onedrive.live.com or onedrive.com in Firefox. Works in all other browsers on my machine (Windows 10 - works in Chrome, Edge, Vivaldi, Opera) but … (மேலும் படிக்க)

I am unable to browse to onedrive.live.com or onedrive.com in Firefox. Works in all other browsers on my machine (Windows 10 - works in Chrome, Edge, Vivaldi, Opera) but just shows a blank page in Firefox.

I've tried in various locations, so it's not my connection. I am running the latest version of Firefox (102.0 64 bit)

An error occurred during a connection to xxxxxxxx. A PKCS #11 module returned CKR_GENERAL_ERROR, indicating that an unrecoverable error has occurred.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_PKCS11_GENERAL_ERROR

I have a hardware token (smart card) and I have added in the Security Devices -> Device Manager. I'm logged in. I'm using ESET and turned off SSL/TLS protocol filtering. No other antivirus software on my PC. I created a new profile - same problem persists. So I use Edge to open that site only - which works fine.
